The Local Community of Our Lady of Consolation facilitated the Online Information Session for Pre-aspirants and Inquirers led by fray Marchello Kintanar, the local Master of Formation, and assisted by sor Grace Gomez, sor Chello Vallena, sor Marylove Vallena, sor Venus Codoy, and fray Lorenz Christian Taoy.

SEPT 4 | SOLEMNITY OF OUR LADY OF CONSOLATION AND THE CINCTURE

Today, we celebrate the Blessed Virgin Mary under her beautiful title of Our Lady, Mother of Consolation and the Cincture. She is honored as the patron and protectress of the Augustinian Order, and as the titular patron of our local chapter. In her role as the Mother of Consolation, Mary offers comfort and hope to all who turn to her in times of sorrow and distress.

Let us pray to Our Lady, Mother of Consolation and the Cincture, asking for her maternal care and protection.

"O Mary, Mother of Consolation, look upon us with your loving eyes. In your Cincture, we find comfort and strength. Guide us on our journey and grant us your peace."

Today, we honor the solemnity of St. Augustine, one of the greatest saints in the history of the Church. His profound theological insights and writings continue to inspire and guide believers. As a Doctor of the Church, St. Augustine's teachings have had a lasting impact on the Catholic tradition.

Let us pray for the intercession of our holy father Augustine, asking for his wisdom and guidance.
