Recollect Augustinian Youth - CEBU RAY (Recollect Augustinian Youth) is an ecclesial Catholic Youth Movement, promoted by the Order of Augustinian Recollects.

It aims to foster the experience and promotion of the Augustinian charism among the youth.

Centered around the theme "๐‹๐š๐ญ๐š๐ฌ: ๐’๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐š๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ ๐ž ๐ญ๐จ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐‚๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ," our delegates officially completed the 1st Student Catholic Action of the Philippines (SCAP) Archdiocesan Leadership Conference, returning to the campus with fresh perspectives, strategies, and renewed courage to serve.๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿคฒ๐Ÿผ

For the past three days, they were immersed in different exposure sites, extensive discussions and talks on the realities society has been facing and what they can do as leaders. Through it all, they were reminded of the heart of leadership. As what Rev. Fr. Abel Bancog said in his talk, "Jesus leads through love, humility, truth, and service." May these young ones also follow Christ's example and be builders of hope through faithful service.โฃ๏ธ๐ŸŒŸ

Viva San Agustin from RAY de Cebu family.
Yesterday, August 27, the Recollect Augustinian Youth USJ-R Main served during the Institutional Mass in honor of the Solemnity of St. Augustine as readers and collectors. They also helped in the distribution of sticky rice (p**o) to the Josenians after the Mass.

May the communitarian spirit of St. Augustine inspire more young people to actively involve and serve the Church! Viva San Agustin!

Today, we celebrate the solemnity of our patron saint, St. Augustine of Hippo. His words tells us that no matter how long we wander or how late we think we are in life, Godโ€™s grace remains and He is always waiting to welcome us home. Saint Augustineโ€™s life is proof that our past mistakes cannot block Godโ€™s plan for our future. We should be following Him, and by doing so, our restless hearts will finally find true rest.โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

Carmel, the clean one.

Through their service, the young people of RAY continue to live out their calling to serve the Church with faith, humility, and dedication, following the example of Saint Ezekiel Moreno, whose life was marked by prayer, generous service, and love for others.
