A SETTLED FAITH
Evidence of a life lived on God’s Promise

In this world where words are cheap and genuineness is a precious commodity, how do you gauge conviction? God does not intend His promise to be just believed in; He purposed it for us to build our life ON it. This only happens when we let God’s promises form our perspectives therefore influencing our life decisions and day to day interactions.

Rooted in the practical teaching of the Epistle of James, this series challenges us to examine whether our faith is steady under pressure, evident in our actions, and consistent in everyday life. James reminds us that real faith is not just heard but lived—revealed in how we endure trials, respond to challenges, relate to others, and trust God in every season. As we journey through this book, may we develop a faith that is not shallow or shifting, but firmly settled on God’s promises—a faith that is visible, resilient, and unmistakably real.

EMMANUEL: When God Settles In On His People
“And surely I am with you always…” — Matthew 28:20

In this journey through the Gospel of Matthew, we will rediscover the powerful truth that God is as close as we can imagine. From His miraculous birth to His victorious resurrection and final promise, Matthew reveals a Savior who moves into our broken world, walks with His us through our sufferings and sends us out with His assured presence. As we study these passages, we will see that Emmanuel is not only God with us in history, but God with us today; settling into our hearts, our homes and our mission as His people.

God’s people are called to live responsibly, humbly, and obediently in seasons of fulfillment and transition. We are challenged to guard against forgetfulness, choose obedience each day, and pass our faith on to the next generation. This year, may God empower us to live the life He calls us to live within the promises He is about to fulfill.

To avoid the traffic influenced by the influx of those returning to the city, we'll have our worship celebration at the Bantiles' earlier at 1pm. Our music team will leave at the Center by 11am, should you want to commute with them. Still for those who can't join in person, you may join us via FB Live.

To our Talisay tropa, worship celebration will still be 9am at Rhea's place.
