Tonight is going to be a meaningful night at Pillars!

Last August 13, 2026, the 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 was filled with meaningful fellowship, encouragement, and the Word of God. Before the program proper, everyone enjoyed a delicious and savory soup while spending time connecting with one another.

The highlight of the gathering was the message shared by Pastor John Sainz entitled “𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜, 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧,” based on Nehemiah 4:14–18. We were reminded that we are not called merely to exist, but to 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱. Like Nehemiah, who was only a cupbearer yet was greatly used by God, we too can be used for His purpose.

The message taught us to 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 by being grounded in the Lord, surrendering our problems to Him, and preparing for spiritual battles through time in His presence. We were also encouraged to 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. With our diverse gifts, shapes, and purposes, we are called to become co-laborers, united in serving the Lord.

Finally, we were reminded to 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 and overcome isolation. Our strength does not come from ourselves but from the Lord and from standing together as one body.

Let us continue to stand firm, build in unity, and strengthen one another for the purpose God has called us to.

Wherever you are in your journey—whether you’re an OJT, a college student preparing for your future, a young adult, a working professional, or someone transitioning into the working world—𝙬𝙚’𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙪𝙨!

Last gathering, Pastor John Sainz reminded us of the importance of building our lives on the right foundation. This Thursday, we’re gathering once again to hear a meaningful and practical message that can 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Pillars gathering without coffee, snacks, and good fellowship. ☕🍪🤝

‎CF Pillars gathered once again on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the CF Center, RRG Building, Urgello Rd., Cebu City, to be reminded of what it truly means to become a 𝗽𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
‎
‎Drawing from Revelation 3:12, Ps. John Sainz shared a timely message entitled "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙣 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙧." A pillar is more than a structure—it is a picture of 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. God calls His people to become overcomers who remain faithful, steadfast, and deeply rooted in Christ despite life's challenges.

‎An overcomer is not someone who never faces difficulties, but someone who continues to trust God, persevere in faith, and rise stronger through every trial. As our faith matures, we are not only strengthened for ourselves but also equipped to uphold and encourage others, building up the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12).
‎
‎The Lord also reminds us that we are not temporary guests in His house but permanent residents through Christ. Our identity, security, and reward are found not in the recognition of this world, but in the eternal honor that God has prepared for those who remain faithful.
‎
‎As we reflect on these questions:
‎• Am I living as an overcomer or am I defeated by my circumstances?
‎• Is my faith strong enough to support others?
‎
‎May we choose to live for eternal rewards rather than temporary pleasures, knowing that true peace and joy are found only in Christ.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙩 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚?

At our recent CF Pillars Gathering last June 25, 2026, with the theme "Liberty in His Grace", Ms. Joy Ferrer, one of Cornerstone Fellowship's Primary Leaders, shared from John 8:31–36 that true freedom is found in Jesus Christ alone.

While the world promises freedom through success or self-reliance, Jesus offers a freedom that breaks the power of sin, reveals our need for God's grace, and gives us a new identity as His children.

We were reminded that we are not called to serve the world, but to serve the Lord. As we remain in His Word, His truth sets us free to live the life He has prepared for us.
