Lent is not about being perfect. It is not about attaining some ideal standard of holiness, but rather it is about making time and space to connect with God and grow closer to Him.

LENT IS A JOURNEY, not a destination.

Growth takes time and effort.

3 things to consider in preparing for Lent:
✅ keep it focused on prayer
✅ fasting
✅ almsgiving

Also things we can do to be more intentional and focused on improving our spiritual life. Real fasting is not merely abstinence from meats, but from sins too.
