Lord Jesus, please set me free from the pain, sorrows and consequences of the sins of my ancestors. Do not allow their mistakes to obscure or obstruct your Blessings in my life. I surrender myself and my entire generation to you today. Clean us up and have mercy on us. May your healing, deliverance and freedom attract also your Favours in our lives. Amen

Gospel Mt 23:27-32

Confrontation: It's right to say that we're all the products of our environments. We may have picked up some habits or attitudes from our old and or young family members and friends. Some of them are quite unpleasant. Some stories we've heard from our grandparents, parents or relatives, may have created hate, bitterness, resentment, malice and toxicity deep inside us. Jesus is inviting us today to Confront them, break up with them and give them up.

Change is possible: we can choose not to be accomplices to whatever bad our parents and ancestors may have done. Not by mere condemning their actions but by choosing to do good today and always. Change is very possible but it won't happen only by condemning the past but it can happen through God's grace and our honest efforts in doing good.
