That's the tragedy of discontentment. Apart from God, we can have plenty and still feel empty. Ecclesiastes 6 reminds us that a life chasing "more" without God is a life void of true meaning and purpose.

So how do we guard our hearts against this?

🙏 Ask God to grant us joy in Him and in the gifts He's already given

👀 Be careful what we set our eyes on

🙌 Submit to God's authority over our lives
