A failing leadership creates fear, not trust.

Proverbs 15:22 KJV

Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

2. πˆπŠπ€π– 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐆 π‹π€π†πˆππ† π“π€πŒπ€

Kapag hindi ka na kayang i-correct kahit ng mature people around you, delikado na.

Healthy leaders are teachable.
Failing leaders become defensive.

Proverbs 12:15 KJV

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

Matthew 28:19 Kjv

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

β€œGo and make disciples…”

4. π”πŒπ€π€π‹πˆπ’ 𝐀𝐍𝐆 πŒπ†π€ π“π€πŽ 𝐍𝐀 𝐒𝐔𝐆𝐀𝐓AN

Some leaders protect reputation more than righteousness.

Pinapaganda ang platform pero pinapabayaan ang character.

Luke 12:1 KJV

In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

β€œBe on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.”

A healthy leader equips people.
A failing leader controls everything.

Ephesians 4:12 KJV

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

β€œTo equip his people for works of service…”

7. 𝐍𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐀 𝐍𝐀 𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐍𝐈 π†πŽπƒ 𝐒𝐀 π‹πˆπŠπŽπƒ 𝐍𝐆 ππ„π‘π…πŽπ‘πŒπ€ππ‚π„

May events.
May attendance.
May content.

Leadership failure starts internally before it becomes visible externally.

𝐀𝐍𝐆 πŒπ€π†π€ππƒπ€ππ† ππ€π‹πˆπ“π€?

Failing leadership is not the end.

David failed.
Peter failed.
Pero parehong marunong magpakumbaba sa Diyos.

Real leadership is not pretending to be perfect.

It’s being humble enough to grow.

1 Peter 1:14-16
King James Version

14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Wealth can make life comfortable, but it can never make it secure. You can stand on gold, walk on riches, and surround yourself with everything this world can offer, yet still be one step away from losing everything that truly matters.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul.
Matthew 16:26 kjv.

You can gain everything people admire, yet lose the one thing you can never replace.

Riches profit not in the day of wrath.
Proverbs 11:4 kjv.

Money will stay behind while you face what it can never protect you from.

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
1 Timothy 6:7 kjv.

Everything you trusted in will be left behind, and none of it will follow you.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. Matthew 6:19 kjv.

What you build without Christ will not last, no matter how secure it feels right now.

There is a step that feels safe until it is too late. There is a fall that cannot be stopped once it begins. There is a moment when comfort is gone and reality cannot be escaped.

Wealth without CHRIST is comfort without SECURITY.

The image presents a powerful metaphor: a human head shaped like a prison, with a person trapped insideβ€”unaware of their captivity. The quote declares:

β€œPeople who tell you the truth are trying to free you from a prison you don’t even know you’re in.”

Let’s examine this through the lens of Scripture.

1. The Invisible Prison: Sin and Deception

The Bible teaches that the most dangerous prison is not physicalβ€”it is spiritual.

β€œAnd ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” β€” John 8:32 (KJV)

Before truth comes, there is bo***ge. Jesus goes on to say:

β€œWhosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” β€” John 8:34 (KJV)

Sin enslaves quietly. Pride, lust, bitterness, false beliefsβ€”these form invisible chains. A person can feel β€œfree” while being completely bound.

2. Truth Often Feels Like an Attack

When someone speaks truthβ€”especially biblical truthβ€”it can feel uncomfortable, even offensive.

β€œAm I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” β€” Galatians 4:16 (KJV)

Why? Because truth confronts deception. It exposes what we’ve grown comfortable with. The prison feels like home until light enters it.

3. God Sends Truth-Tellers as Deliverers

Throughout Scripture, God sends prophets, apostles, and preachersβ€”not to condemnβ€”but to call people out of bo***ge.

β€’ John the Baptist preached repentance boldly.

β€’ Jeremiah warned a rebellious nation despite rejection.

β€’ Jesus Christ Himself declared truth, even when it led to the cross.

These were not enemiesβ€”they were liberators.

4. The Danger of Loving the Prison

One of the most sobering truths in the Bible:

β€œMen loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” β€” John 3:19 (KJV)

A prisoner who loves his prison will resist freedom. When truth comes, it demands changeβ€”repentance, humility, surrender.

5. True Freedom Is Spiritual, Not External

Freedom is not about doing whatever you wantβ€”it’s about being delivered from what destroys you.

β€œIf the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” β€” John 8:36 (KJV)

Only Jesus Christ can break the bars of sin, deception, and spiritual blindness.

πŸ”₯ Final Exhortation

Do not reject the voice that confronts you with truth. That voice may be the very key God is using to unlock your prison.

β€’ The correction you resist may be your rescue.

β€’ The truth you avoid may be your freedom.

β€’ The conviction you feel may be God calling you out.

Examine yourself. Are you freeβ€”or just comfortable in chains?

β€œSearch me, O God, and know my heart…” β€” Psalm 139:23 (KJV)

Because sometimes, the greatest act of love…
is someone telling you the truth.
