The Expositor’s Academy (TEA) Batch 3 students is now on their final stretch of learning as they attend Module 6, their last class before graduation.

These pastors have faithfully journeyed through years of training, study, and preparation in handling God’s Word with faithfulness and clarity. As they complete this final module, please join us in praying for strength, wisdom, humility, and perseverance as they continue to serve the Lord and His Church.

May God use their lives and ministries for the faithful proclamation of His Word.

Thankful to the Lord for His Word. Time and time again He proves that He is faithful and sovereign over our lives.

Church family, may we continue to respond in faith and trust in the Lord when trials come our way. Remind yourself of how God is using that trial to produce an immeasurable result in eternity.

"Motivated By An Eternal Perspective" (2 Corinthians 4:16-18) Dr. Tim Carns August 23, 2026 Sunday Service

Christians nowadays are trying to have heaven on earth; trying to make things better here; living as if this is their permanent home. And their motto is: “Your best life now” – today’s Christian version of non plus ultra. The things that they pray for; what they invest their time in; their passions & joys; their want of comfort & ease. These show how they live as if the attitude: there is nothing more beyond.

But that kind of thinking does not motivate us to make disciples of Christ; that kind of thinking doesnt motivate us to live for Christ. In fact, it does the exact opposite. But, to make disciples requires us to be motivated not by the here and now, but by what is to come. For we will find the encouragement to press on in our Christian walk, not by focusing on the present but on the future.

And that’s exactly what motivated the apostle Paul to be mission-minded as he looked to the beyond.
