The Visayas Grid has officially escalated to 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭 Status today. Please be advised that tentative rotational brownouts may now start earlier than previously scheduled.
To comply with the increased load reduction required by NGCP, additional areas have been added to the schedule.

As of this time, the Visayas Grid remains under 𝐘𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭 Status, which means power supply is currently sufficient but with limited reserve capacity.
To keep everyone informed and prepared, please be advised that if the grid status escalates to 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭, which means power demand is higher than the available supply, rotational brownouts 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 to help maintain overall grid stability.
