In response to the recent earthquake that struck Cebu, many families are in urgent need of help. The Catholic Women’s League of Lahug Unit is taking the initiative to raise funds and extend support to those affected.

Every donation counts—and every peso will be accounted for.

We’ve already carried out various community initiatives—including livelihood programs, feeding programs, donation drives, and tree planting. We’ll be sharing photos and updates to show our commitment and credibility.

𝑱𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝑾𝑳 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

Last August 23–25, 2025, the Archdiocese of Cebu was blessed to send three representatives to the Junior CWL National General Assembly held in Manila: Richelle Joice Pelarion (Junior CWL President), Jasmin Restauro (Junior CWL Vice President), together with 𝗠𝗮. 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 (Senior CWL Chairman of the Juniors and Archdiocesan Board Member).

The three-day gathering was truly a meaningful experience. On the first day, we visited the Manila Cathedral and Luneta Park, then joined the election of the new Junior CWL National Board where 𝗥𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗻 was elected as the new Junior National 2nd Vice President for the Biennium 2025–2026. The day ended with a Eucharistic Celebration and the Induction of the new National Board.

The second day was filled with fun and friendship during our team activities and Palarong Pinoy at UST Covered Court. In the evening, we celebrated Hawaiian Night, with awarding ceremonies and the appointment of committee chairpersons.

On the last day, the new officers and board members gathered for their first meeting before heading back home, bringing with them lessons, memories, and inspiration from this year’s assembly.

We are deeply grateful to the Junior CWL members from all over the country whom we had the chance to meet and build friendships with. Thank you to the Senior CWL National Board, 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 (CWL National President), 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗮 (Junior CWL National Chairman), and the rest of the Senior CWL National Board for their love and guidance. Our heartfelt thanks also to the CWL Archdiocese of Cebu for the continuous support, and to all who showed their love and prayers for us.

This experience is truly a privilege and an honor to represent Cebu. Not only did it strengthen our faith, but it also gave us lasting memories, new friendships, and renewed inspiration to continue serving. We, the Juniors, are reminded that we are the future of CWL, pilgrim bearers of hope, carrying with us the values of Charity, Work, and Loyalty.

We Danced for Our Love of Cebu! ✨

Sharing the vibrant and colorful performance of the Catholic Women’s League- Archdiocese of Cebu during the 58th National Biennial Convention of the Catholic Women’s League Phils., Inc. at the Manila Hotel.

Our dance presentation had two parts:

💃 First, the Sinulog Dance – A dynamic and spiritual performance that celebrated our faith and cultural heritage, choreographed by San Diego Dance Studio.
🎶 Second, "I Love Cebu" – A joyful and lively expression of our pride in Cebu, capturing the warmth and spirit of our people.

We are truly grateful for the chance to share this presentation, which was made possible by the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.

Additionally, we are proud to share that under the inspiring leadership of our Archdiocesan President, Mrs. Mila L. Vasquez, and with the unwavering support and dedication of everyone including the Vicariate and Unit Presidents and all members , our Archdiocese received the GOLD AWARD for excellent accomplishment during the Biennium 2023-2025. This recognition was given for our active involvement and successful accomplishments aligned with the HOPE mission: Holiness, Outreach, Pastoral Involvement, and Empowerment.

Prayer for Saint Maria Goretti

Strengthened by God’s grace, you did not hesitate, even at the age of twelve, to sacrifice life itself to defend your virginal purity. Look graciously on the unhappy human race that has strayed far from the path of eternal salvation. Teach us all especially our youth, the courage and promptness that will help us avoid anything that could offend Jesus. Obtain for me great horror of sin, so that I may live a holy life on earth and win eternal glory in heaven.
