Proverbs 13:9-12

Contrast the Upright and the Wicked

[9] The light of the righteous shines brightly,
but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.
[10] Where there is strife, there is pride,
but wisdom is found in those who take advice.
[11] Dishonest money dwindles away,
but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.
[12] Hope deferred makes the heart sick,
but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.

JESUS the Son of God,
JESUS the Promised Deliverer,
JESUS has the authority to lay down His life and take it again, because HE IS GOD!

For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father.”

“Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most holy place. So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; it will be built again, with plaza and moat, even in times of distress.

Proverbs 13:5-8

Contrast the Upright and the Wicked

[5] A righteous man hates falsehood,
But a wicked man acts disgustingly and shamefully.
[6] Righteousness guards the one whose way is blameless,
But wickedness subverts the sinner.
[7] There is one who pretends to be rich, but has nothing;
Another pretends to be poor, but has great wealth.
[8] The ransom of a man’s life is his wealth,
But the poor hears no rebuke.

We are indeed greatly loved by God who is sovereign over all and who has absolute power and authority for His own holy and good purpose🙌 Praise be to God who alone deserves all the glory and honor 🙌

The Seventy Weeks

24 “Seventy weeks[c] are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place.[d] 25 Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and build Jerusalem to the coming of an anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks. And for sixty-two weeks it shall be built again[e] with squares and moat, but in a troubled time. 26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its[f] end shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed. 27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week,[g] and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”
