𝗗𝗮𝘆 5: 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 4

Joy, laughter, and excitement filled MARCH Village as the children took part in a fun-filled Sports Day! From energetic games to cheerful dances and thrilling challenges, every child gave their best and celebrated the spirit of teamwork, courage, and friendship.

This unforgettable day became even more meaningful through the love and generosity shared by Moulmein Church of Christ and Bantayan Church of Christ, bringing smiles and happiness to every heart in the village.

A heartfelt thank you to the M*F Team for making the mission trip in Bantayan Island truly meaningful and unforgettable.

Now safely back home in Singapore, may each of you carry with you the memories, friendships, and lives touched during those six beautiful days of service. Your love, compassion, and willingness to serve reflected God’s heart in so many ways.

The joy shared with the children, the encouragement given to the community, and the genuine connections built throughout the mission left a lasting impact on everyone involved. The tears shed during goodbyes were proof of how deeply this mission touched every heart.

Thank you for serving with humility, kindness, and faith. May God continue to bless and guide each member of the M*F Team wherever He leads next.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 6: 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 4

The M*F Team, together with the Bantayan Church of Christ Youth, gathered for the final day of M*F4 filled with faith, service, and heartfelt moments. The team walked around the village, sharing prayers, encouragement, and meaningful conversations with the community. It was truly a powerful and memorable prayer walk that concluded with a coastal clean-up by the shore, a reminder that we are not only called to uplift souls and hearts, but also to care for God’s creation and the community around us.

As evening came, everyone gathered once again, including the village children, for a joyful bonfire night filled with games, laughter, and entertaining presentations from both the M*F Team and the Bantayan Church of Christ Youth. The night became emotional as goodbyes were exchanged, with tears shed and hearts deeply touched.

The friendships built, the love shared, and the memories created throughout this mission will forever leave a mark on everyone’s hearts. Until we meet again! 🤍

𝗗𝗮𝘆 5: 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 4

Laughter echoed across MARCH Village as the kids joyfully took part in exciting games and challenges during Sports Day. They ran, danced, cheered, and gave their very best in every activity. More than just a day of fun and competition, it was a celebration of teamwork, courage, and happiness.

Through the love and generosity of Moulmein Church of Christ and Bantayan Church of Christ, countless smiles filled the hearts and faces of the children in MARCH Village.

JESUS THE RECONCILER

“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Eph.2:13

Jesus “made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people” (v.15). “by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility” (v.16).

Reconciliation is something that is done for us. Jesus brought us back to God, reconciled us- and then, and only then, called us to participate in His grand vision to renew the world by creating one people.

In Christ, God has moved us from enmity to a place of friendship and sonship. In Christ, God has done this for us.

“Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.” 1 John 3:4

Sin is not something the ministry invented to hold people in its thrall. The first sentence of Ephesians 2:1 includes the terms "trespasses" and "sins," both of which illustrate simply and clearly why sin is such a universal problem. "Trespasses," the Greek word paraptoma, means "to go off a path," "fall," or "slip aside." When applied to moral and ethical issues, it means "to deviate from the right way," "to wander from a standard."

Commentator William Barclay cogently catches the essence of sin: "Sin is the failure to be what we ought to be and could be." The Bible contains numerous specific standards, and Christianity is a way of life that touches upon every aspect of life. The central notion contained within these two Greek terms is failure—failure to live up to the standards of this way of life as established by God and revealed by His Son, Jesus Christ.
