We had a great week (April 21-23, 2026) teaching the course "The Preacher and His Work" at Samar Bible School in Borongan City.

Brothers Neil Emperado and Luis Aguilar Oliveros were doing the lectures while brother Junix Jr Pitogo lead the devotional message before class.

We thank brother Edwin-Blenda Inso for his leadership and the brethren for their eagerness to learn and for their hospitality.

These are not SIGNS of the End of Times!
Be Informed! READ the Scriptures!

There have been posts circulating on social media relating to what is happening in our world today! By reading Matthew 24, many speculate that these are "Signs" of the end of times (war, blood moon or lunar eclipse, famines, earthquakes, etc).

However, our Lord Jesus Christ clearly said "all these are the beginning of sorrows" Matthew 24:4-8.

Since Jesus Christ made these statement almost 2000 years ago, there had been

-1,430 Total Lunar Eclipses
- Several significant Great Wars (including WW1 and WW2)
- at least 25 significant wars in the Middle East
- at least 40 Million earthquakes
- a number of famines including the Great famine of 1315-1317
- many empires and nations had fallen
- and several pandemics including the latest one we had 6 years ago.

All these things happened and yet our world is still here. Jesus Christ clearly said that there will be NO SIGNS when He returns.

Matthew 24:36-44
"NO ONE KNOWS, EXCEPT THE FATHER IN HEAVEN. THE SON OF MAN IS COMING AT AN HOUR YOU DO NOT EXPECT."

Also in 2 Peter 3:3-13
"The DAY OF THE LORD will come as a thief in the night..."

LESSON: Jesus commands Christians to be ready at all times for we do not know when He will return!

"ISA LAMANG KA MAAYONG BALITA"

Aduna lamay ISA ka MAAYONG BALITA, ug mao kini nga Si Jesu-Cristo NAMATAY sa krus, GILUBONG ug NABANHAW sa ika-3 nga adlaw.( 1 Corinto 15:1-4).

Si apostol Pablo nagsulat ug pahimangno sa iyang epistola ngadto sa mga Cristohanon sa Galatia kabahin sa mga tawng nagwali ug sayop ug lahi nga "maayong balita" (Galatia 1:6-9) ug matod niya,

"Apan bisan pa kami, kun usa ka manolonda gikan sa langit, magwali kaninyo ug lain nga Maayong Balita nga lahi kay sa among ginawali kaninyo, IPATUNGLO siya."

Aduna lamay ISA ka MAAYONG BALITA nga pinaagi niini kita makabaton ug kaluwasan (Roma 1:16).

Ang BIBLIA adunay 4 ka magsusulat sa MAAYONG BALITA (Mateo, Markos, Lucas, Juan) pero nagkahiusa ang ilahang mensahe, nga si JESU-CRISTO NAMATAY sa Krus, GILUBONG ug NABANHAW sa ika-3 nga adlaw.

Ang kinabuhi, kamatayon, paglubong ug pagkabanhaw ni Jesu-Cristo mao ang NAG-INUSARA ug MATUOD nga MAAYONG BALITA.

"THE ONE GOSPEL"

There is ONLY ONE GOSPEL, and this is the DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.( 1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

Paul wrote a warning in his letter to the Galatians (1:6-9),
"But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed."

There is ONLY GOSPEL by which we are saved (Romans 1:16). There are four gospel accounts in the BIBLE (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) but all four wrote the same GOSPEL message; "Jesus died, was buried and then rose on the third day."

The story of JESUS CHRIST, Son of God, Lord and Savior is the ONLY TRUE GOSPEL.

Canlaon City, Neg. Or Churches of Christ 2026 Thanksgiving Fellowship and Worship

We were given a great privilege to be a part of the Canlaon City Churches of Christ Thanksgiving Worship this 2nd Sunday of 2026. Brother Junix Jr Pitogo led the Bible Class on "RESPONSIBILITIES OF CHRISTIANS in the LORD'S CHURCH" and Brother Neil Emperado preached from ISAIAH 12 "TURNING JUDGMENT TO JOY, SORROW TO SINGING". Brother Luis Aguilar Oliveros led the singing.

We thank God for the safe travels and our brethren from Aquino and Lucap Congregation and churchn leaders for your hospitality. May God bless you more!
