Growing up, I never have a good relationship with my parents. I grow-up with hatred inside of me towards my parents. But as a Christian believer I am working on my hatred to let it go and learn to forgive just as Christ himself have forgiven us of our sins.because the Holy Spirit told me through the scripture that I have to honor my Father and Mother this is one of the commandments. But I find it very hard and so unfair because of all the pain that I've been through, and the neglect and the lack of love from a parent growing up. But as I am praying asking him why it is so hard to forgive. The Holy Spirit brings me to the cross where Jesus Christ is. And the Holy Spirit told me, if you find it so hard to forgive your parents or others just look at the cross, And see Jesus Christ, how he endure everything and died for our sins. He never hated anyone for it. Even those people who crucified Him. He loved them all that's the reason why He died for our sins because He loved us too much and he offered his own life so that we will be redeemed of our sins. How Jesus Christ loves and forgives everyone. He also wants us to do the same.

God is perfect and holy. So requires us to be perfect and holy like Jesus his son. And we cannot do it without the help of the Holy Spirit .

So I surrender my life to him and to let go of the hatred that builds up in my heart for my parents. By the Holy Spirit help, I am now working to fix the hatred I have for my parents. I have this hatred for so long that I am so mean to my mom. Even the sight of her I hated the most. But God is working through His perfect plan for our life. He let my mom live with me. For many years I hated her. If you are asking why. It is a very long story to tell but it is so worse that I wished to never be born. Me and my siblings grow up with our grandparents both Christians I mean grandma is a devoted one a very good woman of the Lord with a very strict way of decipline. We grow up as Christians, but still the trauma the devil put in our family even from the start is never fixed. Now I am challenged by the Holy Spirit to forgive and to love my mom.

But the enemy doesn't want it to happen. When he notice the changes of my relationship with mom. he then try to ruin my marriage through my mom. Everytime we're out for our bonding time, She will start to tell me that my husband has a mistress and they even have a baby. Which I didn't able to give my husband for our 14yrs of marriage. I thank the Holy Spirit that I am able to see the devil through her. But she is so Invested in the thought of my husband having a mistress and a baby that she will bring it up over and over everytime we spend our bonding moment. May God forgive me but the hatred I have for her begins to come back. I didn't like what is happening so I open this up with my older brother. Which I am thankful I did because he plainly addressed my weakness which is my mom whom I have no idea. Kuya tells me that the devil is attacking me through mom because he see that my weakness is mom.

And I tell you people that the devil hates it if we pursue God. He will do everything in his power to ruin us. To tell us lies and to condemn us just so we will stop to pursue God. But we as Christians we need to press on. And never let the devil win. We can win this battle though the Holy Spirit and the word of God. Because there is no power here on earth who can defeat the devil and make him flee. Only the his word and in Jesus name.

So again, I am back in this moment telling myself I don't deserve this. This is so unfair. So again the Holy Spirit redirects me to Jesus on the cross. While I am reading the Gospel in Matthew 27: 28-31. While reading this, I felt so ashamed of myself. Jesus doesn't deserve those beatings, all those mocking and all those spitting in his face because he is an innocent man, and here I am complaining that I don't deserve all this. Oh Holy Spirit forgive me of my foolishness.

As a Christian believer we don't have the right to complain because what we've been through is nothing compared to the shame and the pain and the loneliness our Lord Jesus Christ endured on the cross just to redeem us of our sins. He is blameless, he is sinless but he make himself a sin to redeem us and to reconcile us to the Father our God.

This is the message I want to spoke to My Brothers and sisters in Christ. If you find it so hard to forgive others because Of the pain and the insult. Specially if the wound of that pain is already rooted. Try to pray to the Holy Spirit to give you peace. And look back upon Jesus finished work on the cross. How Jesus loved those people that hurt him even if they rejected him but still His love for them is unfailing. He died for them, Remember how he died for our sins. That is how great his love is for us. Know that He even love that person you hated. So love him and forgive him just like Jesus loved us and forgive us despite of our sins.
