Day 3: Renewed, Refreshed, and Ready

We capped off our 3-day journey at the stunning Tan-on Bay Beach Resort with hearts full and spirits lifted. Day 3 was the perfect blend of activity and tranquility. A final, beautiful reminder of why we set this time aside for our families.

We kicked off the morning with high-energy Zumba led by our vibrant and energetic ladies, followed by peaceful strolls along the venue, soaking in the fresh air and the breathtaking scenery of the bay. After a hearty breakfast, we dove into some much-needed R&R, enjoying the pool and the rest of the amenities. Amidst the laughter and the bonding, there were those "golden moments"; those deep, meaningful conversations that happen only when you take the time to truly slow down and connect.

Before we packed up, we gathered one last time for devotionals and breakout sessions. It was powerful to break into groups: husbands, wives, youth (male and female), and the kids, allowing us to share openly and pray specifically for the unique roles and challenges we face.

We ended with a phenomenal lunch, savoring every last bit of fellowship before heading out to our respective homes.

"The goal of this weekend wasn't just to escape reality for a few days; it was to find the strength, the clarity, and the Christ-centered vision to return to our daily lives better than we left them. The camp may have ended, but the fire we re-ignited there is designed to burn in our homes every single day. We are not just going home; we are going back as families who know that with Christ as our center, we are unbreakable. Until the next gathering, keep the flame alive!"

Day 2: An Evening of Worship, Fire, and Vision 2/2

As the sun set on Day 2, the atmosphere shifted from reflection to a vibrant celebration of God’s goodness. After sharing another lovely meal as one big family, we gathered for an unforgettable night.

The evening was a beautiful display of the "Christ-centered family" in action:

Creative Offerings: We opened the night by worshipping God and sharing the murals and artworks we created in the afternoon. Each piece told a story of a home anchored in faith, turning our collective vision into a beautiful gallery of hope.

A Showcase of Grace: The stage came alive as each family showcased their God-given talents. From songs to dance numbers, skits and everything in between. It was a joy-filled reminder that every gift within our families is a reflection of the Creator's heart.

The Bonfire Reflections: The highlight of the night was huddling together around the glowing bonfire. In the warmth of the flames, we shared our reflections on the day’s activities and celebrated the success of this much-awaited camp.

We took a moment to honor the dedicated hearts who worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality. There was a shared sense of excitement as we realized this isn't just a one-time event, it’s the spark for more church-wide activities in the near future. We aren't just going home; we are moving forward together.

Day 2: From Inner Stillness to Creative Fire 1 of 2

Our second day was a beautiful tapestry of spiritual depth, honest conversations, and family creativity. It was a journey that took us from the quiet corners of our own hearts to the vibrant shared vision of our future together.

The Morning: The REST Prayer Journey
We began in the early light with a Family Prayer Huddle, anchoring ourselves before embarking on the REST Prayer Journey. Walking through the four stations—Reveal, Embrace, Serve, and Trust—allowed us to realign. We moved from searching our own hearts (Psalm 139:23) to embracing our family with grace, praying for our community, and finally surrendering the chaos of the nations to God’s sovereignty. It was a momentous experience that reminded us that "REST" isn't just about stopping; it's about refueling in His presence.

The Mid-Day: Honest Roots & Restoration
Following our walk, Bro. Joel shared and led a powerful family discussion. There were no filtered answers; just raw, honest sharing of experiences. After a sumptuous lunch and some much-needed R&R, we felt refreshed and ready for the afternoon ahead.

The Afternoon: The Vision & The Canvas
Bro. Josue brought the theme to life, teaching us exactly what a Christ-Centered Family looks like in the modern world. His words gave us the "blueprint," and then it was time for us to build.

Each family was given a task to show their creativity through a mural project. Seeing parents and kids huddled over canvases, drawing and coloring their unique depictions of a Christ-centered home, was the perfect end to the day’s sessions. These artworks weren't just decorations; they were visual covenants of the homes we are building together.

Day 1: Setting the Spark

From the moment we arrived, the excitement and energy was unmistakable. We kicked things off with a burst of laughter and friendly competition. Fun and games for all to enjoy!

From the kiddies, to the youth and the adults, it was fun and laughter for ALL AGES. In addition to that, the battle for the high-energy bouncy ball that had everyone diving, then on to the quiet, focused moments of chess with the kiddos. It was a beautiful reminder that whether we are playing hard or thinking deeply, we do it all together as a family.

We wrapped up the evening by nourishing both body and soul by sharing a sumptuous meal followed by an intimate devotional. A perfect start to re-igniting the light in our hearts and our home.
