Does telling the truth automatically make someone an enemy?
No, being truthful doesn't automatically make someone an enemy; in fact, honesty typically builds trust and is a valued trait in relationships.
However, the question "Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" comes from Galatians 4:16, a biblical verse where the apostle Paul asks this question of the Galatians because they were reacting negatively to God's truth.
This shows that while truth itself isn't the problem, telling the truth can sometimes lead to conflict if the recipient is unwilling to hear it.
People up to now say they are believers but believes on their own righteousness and effort to be saved. This mindset contradicts God's truth in Acts 4:12, that states, And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved [for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation.]
Jesus Christ is the only way, the truth and the eternal life. Believe on Him. Put your faith on Him on your spiritual eternal salvation before it's too late.
