Happy National Baptist Day! π΅π
Today, we pause to thank God for His ongoing work among His people. βBeing confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christβ (Philippians 1:6, KJV). What God started by grace, He continues by His power, and His work in His church will not fail.
As Baptists, we are bound together by the Gospel we believe and proclaim. βYe all are partakers of my grace,β the Apostle Paul declares, reminding us that our calling is shared and our labor is united (Philippians 1:7, KJV). From those who faithfully laid the foundation to the generation rising to carry the Gospel forward, each has a place in Godβs design.
Our task remains clear and unwavering: βthe defence and confirmation of the gospelβ (Philippians 1:7, KJV). In a changing world, we stand firm, confident not in ourselves, but in the Lord who strengthens His people and preserves His truth.
As we observe National Baptist Day in accordance with RA 11897, we also affirm our testimony as God-fearing citizens. As Baptists, we pray for our country, labor faithfully within it, and proclaim Christ as its greatest hope.
May this celebration renew our unity, deepen our faith, and strengthen our resolve to labor together until Christ returns.
