On May 30, 2026, the Carmelite Missionaries Youth, CMY Cebu, celebrated their Renewal of Commitment and welcomed the Pledge of Commitment for the CMY Aspirants. The rite included 12 renewal commitments and 2 pledges from our new aspirants.

Our heartfelt thanks to Sr. Eli, CM, for presiding over the Rite of Renewal, and to Sr. Theia, CM, for the blessings. We would not have reached this moment without their faithful guidance and spiritual accompaniment.

To CMY, thank you for your unwavering commitment. You keep this ministry strong, mighty in faith, and persevering in prayer and service.

𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙇𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙑𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙚𝙨, 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙪𝙨!

On May 30, 2026, the Carmelite Missionaries Youth (CMY CEBU) celebrates the Feast Day of Our Lady of Virtues as patroness of the Carmelite Missionaries Youth Philippines, followed by an enthusiastic and prayerful Flores de Mayo culmination for our Little Friends of St. Therese of the Child Jesus (LFST).

It was a day full of prayers, excitement, and energy that made the day more alive and colorful, with the help of Sr. Azi, CM, who gave insights about Our Lady of Virtues and followed by an activity, which helped the children light up their faces and obtain the idea of Our Lady of Virtues, who is full of gifts, virtues, and honor.

We would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to our sponsors, to the Kiwanis Club for being our food sponsor and for nourishing everyone throughout the day, to the CMS family for providing the school supplies for our children, to the CM Sisters for their constant guidance, support, and more, and to the CMY for your unwavering commitment and for being a beacon of inspiration to our young ones.

𝗖𝗠𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 | 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻🌺🌼

On May 29, 2026, the Carmelite Missionaries Youth (CMY Cebu) participated as Summer Youth Volunteers during the Flores de Mayo 2026 held at Holy Cross Parish, Basak Pardo, Cebu City, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Together with 19 children from San Isidro Labrador Chapel of Lower Genes, Quiot, Cebu City, composed of 6 Pre-Communicants, 3 First Communicants, and 10 Post-Communicants, the group took part in this meaningful and faith-filled celebration.

The CMY willingly dedicated themselves to serving these children by helping strengthen their faith and devotion to our Mother Mary. As they believe, we should see God in the faces of these children.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Holy Cross Parish Youth Coordinating Council for trusting and allowing us to participate in this wonderful activity. Through this event, meaningful opportunities were provided not only for the youth but also for the children to experience and deepen their devotion to Mother Mary.

To our CMY, thank you for your continuous service and commitment in keeping a strong and mighty faith while becoming an inspiration to our young ones. Your ministry and mission to continue serving and standing up not only for the children, but also for God and yourselves, are truly admirable. Your dedication and commitment are a testament to how fruitful, passionate, and devoted the CMY truly are.

𝗖𝗠𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 | 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗿

“Fan into flame the gift of God.” — 2 Timothy 1:6

The Carmelite Missionaries Youth (CMY Cebu) successfully served as the choir during the Novena Masses at San Isidro Labrador Chapel, Quiot, Pardo, Cebu City, from May 7–18, 2026. This experience was a testament to the versatility, dedication, and God-given talents that we are called to develop and share with others.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the members of CMY for their commitment, passion, and service. Special thanks to Tatay Jing Jing, our pianist and choir coach, for believing in us, guiding us, and giving us the opportunity to express our talents and deepen our ministry through music.

May this experience inspire us to continue using our gifts for the glory of God and the service of His people.

On May 9, 2026, the Carmelite Missionaries Youth (CMY Cebu) celebrated the Flores de Mayo with the Little Friends of St. Therese of the Child Jesus (LFST). This special gathering was a beautiful expression of love and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, honoring her through prayer, offerings, and fellowship.

We extend our appreciation to our generous sponsors, Sr. Marivic, CM, and the members of CMY for their contributions and dedication in making this celebration possible. Through their generosity and example, our LFST were encouraged to deepen their devotion to the Blessed Mother and grow in their faith journey.

𝗖𝗠𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

On May 24, 2026, the Carmelite Missionaries Youth (CMY Cebu) participated in a recollection facilitated by Sr. Marivic, CM, and Sr. Azi, CM. Centered on the theme “Our Lady of Virtues,” the recollection invited the CMY to reflect on the virtues of the Blessed Virgin Mary and how these may be lived out in their daily lives. The sessions and activities provided opportunities for prayer, reflection, and deeper understanding, leaving the CMY with valuable lessons and stronger inspiration in their faith journey.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the CM Sisters for their guidance and for leading this meaningful recollection. We also commend the members of CMY for their active participation, openness, and eagerness to learn throughout the day. May the insights gained from this experience continue to inspire us to grow in faith, virtue, and service.

On May 23, 2026, the Carmelite Missionaries Youth (CMY Cebu) successfully held a Flores de Mayo celebration for the Little Friends of St. Therese of the Child Jesus (LFST). Through prayers, offerings, and shared devotion, the children were given the opportunity to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and deepen their appreciation of her role in our faith.

Our sincere appreciation goes to Sr. Marivic, CM, for her guidance and encouragement, and to the members of CMY for their dedication and teamwork in making this celebration possible. May this experience continue to inspire our LFST to grow in faith and devotion to Our Blessed Mother.

On May 22, 2026, the Carmelite Missionaries Youth (CMY Cebu) conducted a CM Family Bible Camp Re-Echo, sharing their experiences and learnings as delegates of the CM Family Bible Camp 2026. Through their stories, reflections, and insights, fellow CMY members were able to glimpse the journey they had undertaken, one marked by faith, fellowship, growth, and unforgettable moments.

We extend our gratitude to Sr. Marivic, CM, and all the members of CMY for their cooperation and participation in making this gathering fruitful. May the lessons and experiences shared continue to inspire and strengthen our community as we journey together in faith.
