You will become stagnant on your Christian life if you don't apply what you have heard from the Word of God through your pastors. Applying the Word of God in your life is like building a house upon the rock, whenever the storm, floods and winds of life come, you will be able to stand and never waver from your faith.
"Be ye doers of the Word and not hearers only"
Matthew 7:24-27 KJV
24. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
