RECRUITMENT FOR OUR TALISAY, CEBU UNIT CHAPTER

**CHARISM**
Its special calling is to bring both oneself and society to be formed to Christ, and repairing the offenses committed against God.
For each member, this means being formed into a true Christian in mind, body, and soul; for society, it means working for renewal through charitable action, the promotion of the common good, and the proclamation of the Gospel.
The group aims for the formation of responsible Catholic men.

**MISSION**
To promote, preserve, and defend the Most Holy Catholic faith through the spiritual works of mercy such as evangelization, catechesis, and apologetics; to engage in charity through the corporal works of mercy; and to repair the damages of blasphemy and impiety by honoring and propagating devotion to the Most Holy Name of Jesus by way of devotion to Señor Santo Niño de Cebu, the Holy Name of Mary, and the Blessed Name of Joseph.

**VISION**
To bring and to keep people, young and old, in Christ and the fullness of His Mystical Body, the Catholic Church; to be exemplar Christians, as well as preachers and defenders; to be witnesses of Our Lord in the to the “ends of the earth", so that all nations may honor the Most Holy Name, through the Sacred Image of the Holy Child, and uphold teachings consistent with His Church.

**MEMBER QUALIFICATIONS**
a) A male Catholic of good standing.
b) Ages 15 and above.
c) Must not be connected with cultic, Masonic, schismatic, or heretical groups.
d) Must accept all the ecumenical councils as legitimate councils.
e) Must respect the Ordinary (Pauline) or Extraordinary (Latin) Forms of the Mass.
f) Must stand with the Church against abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, same-sex “marriage,” divorce, contraception, among other issues.
g) Must have reverential respect and accept the current Holy Father as legitimate successor of St. Peter and shepherd of the Universal Church.

**MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS**

a) Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate or equivalent document (i.e. Confirmation Certificate, Catholic Marriage Certificate, etc.).
b) Photocopy of Birth Certificate.
c) Signed Membership Form.
d) Signed Parental Consent Form for ages 15 to 17.

Must be able to offer some time and talent in the missions, cultivation, and formation in the Brotherhood.
