𝙍𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝘾𝙚𝙗𝙪 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙂𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 2025

A blessed and joyful morning marked the 𝑹𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝑪𝒆𝒃𝒖 𝑭𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝑮𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 2025 held at St. Alphonsus Collegiate Formation House.

The gathering was graced by the presence of priests, seminarians, brothers, their families, and the Redemptorist Vocations Associates. It began with the Holy Mass presided over by 𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑭𝒓. 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑 𝑷𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒐, CSsR, Assistant Director of the Formation House, followed by an inspiring talk on family by 𝑹𝒆𝒗. 𝑭𝒓. 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 𝑴𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒆𝒍 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒍, CSsR. Heartfelt testimonies from the parents of our seminarian and priest beautifully highlighted the vital role of family in nurturing vocations.

The celebration concluded with a shared lunch and the giving of Christmas tokens, strengthening the bonds of faith, gratitude, and communion as one Redemptorist family.

Search-in Weekend Continues

The day began with a session talk on Prayer & Discernment, followed by taking of the initial tests required for the seminary formation.

In the afternoon, our vocation boys had their city tour together with some senior high school students of St. Alphonsus Seminary Cebu.

Help us pray for more vocations to the Redemptorists.

SEARCH-IN WEEKEND

Today begins the Redemptorist Search-in Weekend happening at St. Alphonsus Collegiate Formation House in Cebu. There are four young men from Cebu and Bohol who responded to this event.

The day's session was faciliated by Bro. Tyrone, CSsR, inspiring these young men on the life of a Redemptorist.

In the afternoon, Fr. Miguel, CSsR gave a talk on the Redemptorist Life in the Missions showing them short-documentary video of Bro. Karl Gaspar's "To Be Poor and Obscure".

The day is filled with sessions on the Redemptorist life and taking initial exams to the seminary formation.

Thank you to our Local Vocation Team for preparing and hosting this event.

Help us pray that these young men may courageously respond to the Redemptorist vocation.

Thank you to these young men who joined our vocation search-in camp on December 7-8, 2025.

These young men came the various schools in Bohol that the Local Vocation Team has campaigned for this month.

Also, we thank Mrs. Margie Alvarado and family for always helping us in organizing vocations event. Thank you also to the staff of Sunset Beach Bohol for giving us a warm accommodation.

Pray for these young men that they bravely respond to God's invitation to the Redemptorist vocation.
