On this third day of our novena, we lift up in prayer all priests, celebrants, speakers, sharers, and spiritual leaders who will minister during the 2nd SCโ€“AGPM.
:
We pray that every word they speak may come from the heart of God. May every prayer they offer be filled with faith, authority, compassion, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
:
May the Lord anoint them afresh, strengthen them in body, mind, and spirit, and protect them from weariness and distraction. May they become living channels of grace, healing, renewal, and truth for all who will gather.
:
Lord, use Your chosen servants mightily.
Let their presence draw hearts closer to You.
Let their words awaken faith, hope, and deeper love.

As we continue our 9-day novena prayer, we ask the Lord to cover every servant, leader, volunteer, and participant with His protection, holiness, and grace.
:
Today, we pray not only for a successful preparation, but for a deeply spiritual one. May our hearts be purified, our intentions renewed, and our service made holy before the Lord.
:
May every servant be protected from discouragement, distraction, temptation, sickness, and spiritual attack. May this time of preparation lead us closer to Jesus, through prayer, repentance, Confession, the Holy Eucharist, and a renewed desire to live in holiness.
:
Lord Jesus, cover us with Your Precious Blood.
Sanctify our hearts. Strengthen our spirits.

Today, we begin our 9-day spiritual journey not with our own strength, but with hearts fully surrendered to the Lord.

As we prepare for the 2nd SCโ€“Archdiocesan General Prayer Meeting, we come before God with humility, obedience, and trust, offering every plan, every task, every sacrifice, and every act of service for His greater glory.
:
May this first day remind us that true service begins in surrender. Before we serve with our hands, we first bow our hearts. Before we move in action, we allow God to purify our intentions. Before we gather as one community, we ask the Holy Spirit to make us worthy instruments of His peace, power, and love.
:
Let us pray that every service team, every volunteer, and every servant leader may be clothed with humility and guided by the Spirit , free from pride, distraction, and division, and fully disposed to do the will of God.

Come, Holy Spirit. Prepare our hearts.
Make us ready. Make us faithful. Make us one.

Our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Rolly Detera, has graciously encouraged the Charismatic community to gather for a solemn vigil in honor of the Holy Spirit. This sacred occasion invites the faithful to enter into prayer, praise, and reflection, preparing our hearts and minds for the great feast of Pentecost. As the Church commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, we are called to renew our devotion and openness to His gifts. The vigil serves as a fitting prelude to the liturgical celebration of Pentecost Sunday, reminding us of the Spiritโ€™s abiding presence and power in the life of the Church. All parishioners are warmly invited to participate in this holy observance, that together we may rejoice in the Spirit who renews the face of the earth.
