The Children of Mary - Vincentian Marian Youth Archdiocese of Cebu invites everyone to walk together as one family in faith during the 41st Walk with Mary (8th Cebu Grand Marian Procession) on September 6, 2026 to celebrate the Nativity of our Blessed Virgin Mary.

Let us offer our steps, prayers, and devotion to our Blessed Mother. Bring your candles, rosaries, umbrellas and Marian prayers!

The Association of the Children of Mary Immaculate – Vincentian Marian Youth Cebu invites all faithful to the 𝟰𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 and the 𝟴𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, starting from the Cebu Provincial Capitol, culmination at Plaza Independencia with the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗘𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Together with the Blesed Virgin Mother, may we walk as one in faith and peace, becoming true instruments of Christ's peace in our families, communities, and in the world.

August 22 | Memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary

"A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothe with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. - Revelation 12:1

We celebrate today the Queenship of The Blessed Virgin Mary, crowned with glory in heaven, reigning with Christ as Queen of Heaven and Earth. We remember that above all, she knows the weight of our quiet sorrows, and the prayers we can barely whisper, and hopes we carry in secret.

May we all feel the warmth of her mantle wrapped around us today, gently guiding us towards her Son!

SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

Today, we celebrate the Assumption of Mary, the dogma of the Catholic Church that teaches us that, at the end of her earthly life, Mary was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.

The Assumption is a dogma of the Catholic Church, solemnly defined by Pope Pius XII in Munificentissimus Deus on November 1, 1950.

“The Immaculate Mother of God, the ever Virgin Mary, having completed the course of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heavenly glory.”

Mary’s Assumption reminds us that God’s grace is ultimately directed toward the fullness of life with Him. In Mary, we see the fulfillment of what awaits those who faithfully respond to God’s love.

As Children of Mary - Vincentian Marian Youth, we look to Mary not only as our Mother, but as our model. Like her, may we faithfully say “yes” to God and live that Fiat through faith, love, and service, especially to those most in need.

"We are the Church, Journeying with Mary Fully Alive in Faith and Mission."

The CoM-VMY Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion Cebu students and Lay Mission Partners joined the CoM-VMY Cebu Annual Pilgrimage last July 18–19, 2026 at Basak Elementary School, Mandaue City in celebration of the Anniversary of the First Apparition of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.

More than a gathering, the pilgrimage became a sacred journey of faith, an invitation to encounter Christ through the loving guidance of Mary. As we prayed, reflected, celebrated the Eucharist, and shared in moments of fellowship with fellow CoMers in Cebu, we were reminded that the Church is a living community that journeys together in hope, service, and love.

May this pilgrimage renew in each of us the desire to become a Church that listens, serves, and walks together, always guided by Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. With hearts fully alive in faith and mission, may we continue to become instruments of God's love and bearers of His mercy wherever we are sent.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. 💙

As we begin School Year 2026-2027, may we be lovingly guided by the virtues of our Blessed Mother and seek her intercession and maternal protection as we grow closer to Jesus and become artisans of peace and hope in a Church fully alive.

Feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help | Seeking Mary’s comfort, hope, and maternal intercession

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Feast of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary as a source of comfort, hope, and strength for all who seek her intercession. Her loving presence reminds us that we are never alone in our struggles and that God's grace is always with us.

As we gather in prayer and thanksgiving, we entrust our families, communities, and personal intentions to her. Through her maternal care, may we find courage in times of difficulty, peace amid life's challenges, and renewed faith in God's unfailing love.

May this feast inspire us to follow Mary's example of humility, obedience, and trust in the Lord. Under the protection of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, may we continue to walk in faith, serve others with compassion, and share Christ's love with the world.

Divine Mercy — God’s Boundless Compassion | A call to receive & share God’s mercy

On Divine Mercy, we pause to behold the depth of God’s compassion poured out in Christ: a mercy that forgives, restores, and sends us back into the world to be instruments of healing. In the face of our failures and fears, God meets us with patient love and a call to new life. May this day deepen our trust in God’s forgiveness and inspire us to show mercy to others with humble hearts and generous hands.

Easter Sunday — He Is Risen | A morning of triumph, renewed hope & living joy

On Easter Sunday we celebrate the heart of the Christian faith: Jesus’ victory over death and the promise of new life for all who trust in Him. After the sorrow of Good Friday and the quiet of Holy Saturday, the tomb is found empty and the disciples are met with the life‑changing proclamation that Christ is risen. This day calls us from mourning into joy, from fear into bold witness, and from waiting into active hope. As we gather in church, in homes, and in community, may the light of the Resurrection renew our faith, heal our wounds, and send us forth to live as people transformed by grace.

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.” Matthew 28:6

Black Saturday — The Vigil of Waiting | A day of silent mourning, hopeful watchfulness & quiet anticipation

Black Saturday, the day between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, holds a solemn stillness as the Church waits at the Lord’s tomb, mourning His death while quietly anticipating the joy of the Resurrection. In this holy pause, we enter the mystery of Christ’s rest and His descent to the place of the dead, trusting that God’s redeeming work continues even in the silence. May this day draw us into contemplative prayer, patient hope, and renewed trust in the promise of new life.

"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit. After being made alive, He went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits." 1 Peter 3:18-20

The 7 Last Words of Jesus

On this Good Friday, we listen not just with our ears, but with our hearts. The Seven Last Words of Jesus reveal a love that forgives, a mercy that saves, and a surrender that redeems.

In every word, there is an invitation, to forgive more, to trust deeper, and to love even in suffering. May we carry these words within us, not just today, but in the way we live each day. ✝️🙏🏻

Maundy Thursday — The Lord’s Last Supper & the Washing of the Feet | A night of humble service, sacrificial love & the new covenant

On Maundy Thursday, we gather at the table where Jesus shared His final meal with the disciples, instituted the sacrament of communion, and modeled servant leadership by washing their feet. In that intimate hour, He taught us that remembrance and service belong together: we are called to receive His grace, to break bread in memory of His sacrifice, and to wash one another’s feet in humility and love. May this day renew our commitment to follow Christ’s example of self-giving, compassion, and faithful obedience.

"And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way, after the supper, He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.” Luke 22:19-20
