SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

“Remember also, Lord, your servants whom you have been pleased to confirm today by bestowing the Holy Spirit, and keep them in your grace.”

In this sacred moment, we witnessed young hearts strengthened in faith and sealed by the Spirit, called to live boldly in grace and service. As part of the 50th Parish Fiesta celebration, this gathering becomes a quiet reminder that the Spirit continues to move within our community—renewing, guiding, and sending forth.

The celebration was Presided by Rev. Monsigior Rey Penagunda and concelebrated by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Mark Anthony Zarate, OFM.

This meaningful celebration was made possible through the efforts of the Parish Youth and the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangays Sambag I and II, whose dedication reflects a shared mission of nurturing faith among the young. Come, Holy Spirit, remain in us and lead us always.

The Parish Youth Coordinating Council warmly invites everyone—especially the youth—to take part in Kumpisalang Bayan 2026, to be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 8:00 PM in the parish.

Come and experience God’s mercy through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Let this be a meaningful moment of reflection, renewal, and grace as we journey together in faith. All are encouraged to attend and prepare their hearts for this sacred encounter. 💜

Join an evening of Eucharistic Adoration and Reconciliation on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 8 o'clock in the evening here in our parish.

Priests of the Vicariate of the Most Holy Rosary, composed of the Metropolitan Cathedral, Santo Rosario Parish, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu, Sacred Heart Parish, Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish, Blessed Sacrament Parish, and the Shrine of San Pedro Calungsod, will make a Lenten Pilgrimage in our parish, lead the Eucharistic Adoration, and minister the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

RECAP | The San Vicente Ferrer Parish celebrated the solemnity of Christ the King through a grace-filled mass and a meaningful procession. During the celebration, members of the different ministries renewed their vows and consecration—reaffirming their commitment to serve God and His Church with faithfulness and humility.

As the community gathered in prayer and devotion, hearts were once again reminded of Christ’s kingship and the call to serve with deeper love. The celebration became not just a tradition, but a powerful moment of unity, gratitude, and rekindled purpose—strengthening the mission of every servant to continue offering their lives for God’s greater glory.
