Carlo dies at age 15 due to leukemia, leaving in the memory of those those who knew him a great void and a deep admiration for what was his brief and intense testimony of an authentic Christian Life. Since he first received his first communion at 7 years old, he never missed an appointment with the daily Mass. He always tried before and after the mass to pray in front of the Tabernacle to worship the Lord truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. Our Lady was his great confidant and never failed to honour her daily by reciting the Rosary. Carlo's Modernity combines his deep Eucharistic life and Martian devotion which have helped to make him the most special guy who is loved and admired by everyone. He died on October 12, 2006, was beatified October 20, 2020 in Assisi.
