| One month ago, we celebrated the feast of San Pedro Calungsod, as we look back on these moments after the Fiesta Mass, we are reminded that beyond the activities and celebrations, what made our fiesta truly meaningful were the people, memories, and shared devotion that brought us together as one family.

May the life of San Pedro Calungsod continue to inspire us to serve with humility, live with courage, and keep our faith alive in our community.

Viva San Pedro Calungsod!

FLORES DE MAYO & CATECHISM 2026

Last May 4, 2026, the Zone 2 Chapels San Agustin Chapel, San Isidro Labrador Chapel, Sto. Niño Chapel - Cabancalan 2, San Roque Chapel, and the Sto. Niño Chapel - Villabulsita officially began their Catechism gatherings, welcoming children to learn the basic teachings of the Catholic faith. For the first week, the children reflected on God’s beautiful creation, especially the animals and the Seven Days of Creation.

As part of our month-long celebration, there will be a Holy Rosary at 2:00 PM, followed by the Flores de Mayo offering.

May this month long activities and celebration continue to guide our children closer to the chapel and to the Church, helping them grow not only in age, but also in faith, love, and devotion to God.

Thank you for your service, your love, and your faith. You will always be remembered, Nanay Zinda 🤍

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Zinda rest in Peace, Amen.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF ZINDA T. GOMEZ

A dedicated member of our community and our Church, who faithfully served and helped shape the vision of San Agustin Chapel into what it is today.

She served as a Block Leader in our chapel, and a WAF member at our parish, offering her time, effort, and heart in service to God and to the people. Her life was a reflection of quiet dedication, unwavering faith, and genuine love for the community.

Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy of service and kindness will continue to live on in our hearts and in the life of our chapel.

Thank you for your service, your love, and your faith. You will always be remembered.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Zinda rest in Peace, Amen.

Highlights | Following the early morning procession, we celebrated the Fiesta Mass at 10:00 AM in honor of San Pedro Calungsod, presided over by Rev. Fr. Dean Marlo Mangubat.

In his homily, Fr. Dean emphasized how many of today’s youth are often focused on gadgets and social media. While these can be good tools for connection, he reminded us to remain mindful of our spiritual life, especially in today’s fast-paced world. He encouraged the youth to actively participate in church gatherings, as these help strengthen faith and build a deeper sense of community.

Before the final blessing, a certificate of appreciation and a chibi image of San Pedro Calungsod were presented to Rev. Fr. Dean Mangubat as a token of gratitude. This was followed by the Oathtaking of the new SPCYO Officers (2025–2028), officiated by Miss Jowienelyn Moners, the previous SPCYO President, and blessed by Fr. Dean Mangubat.

To our newly elected SPCYO Officers, may you lead with hearts and minds open to listening not only to God, but also to the community you serve.

Congratulations and Happy Fiesta!

Highlights | As the month of April comes to a close, we look back on the meaningful moments of our fiesta celebration in honor of San Pedro Calungsod.

Last April 18, 2026, at 5:30 AM, the solemn procession set off at dawn, as devotees and fellow youths from Sto. Niño Chapel Cabancalan II and San Miguel Archangel Chapel of Mahayahay came together in faith and unity. Carrying the image of our beloved patron, the procession made its way around our sitio, a peaceful witness of devotion in the quiet of the early morning.

The procession concluded at our chapel as we prepared our hearts for the Fiesta Mass later that morning at 10:00 AM, the highlight of our celebration.
