He not only died for our sins but also rose again, conquering sin and death once and for all. Even though Isidor and Ida had the chance to board the lifeboat, they refused because they could not save themselves while living others behind. As we began a new month together in worship, we were encouraged to remember that ๐™ฌ๐™š ๐™ฃ๐™š๐™ซ๐™š๐™ง ๐™ฌ๐™–๐™ก๐™  ๐™ฉ๐™๐™ง๐™ค๐™ช๐™œ๐™ ๐™ก๐™ž๐™›๐™š'๐™จ ๐™˜๐™๐™–๐™ก๐™ก๐™š๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™š๐™จ ๐™–๐™ก๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™š. Jesus experienced hunger, exhaustion, sorrow, rejection, betrayal, temptation, and suffering just as we do, yet He remained without sin. Because He lived among us, ๐™ƒ๐™š ๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™™๐™š๐™ง๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™๐™จ ๐™š๐™ซ๐™š๐™ง๐™ฎ ๐™—๐™ช๐™ง๐™™๐™š๐™ฃ ๐™ฌ๐™š ๐™˜๐™–๐™ง๐™ง๐™ฎ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™š๐™ซ๐™š๐™ง๐™ฎ ๐™—๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ฉ๐™ก๐™š ๐™ฌ๐™š ๐™›๐™–๐™˜๐™š. He is not a distant Savior who watches from afar, but a compassionate High Priest who invites us to come confidently to Him with every fear, pain, and weakness. We never have to pretend we are okay or hide our struggles from God because ๐™ƒ๐™š ๐™–๐™ก๐™ง๐™š๐™–๐™™๐™ฎ ๐™ ๐™ฃ๐™ค๐™ฌ๐™จ ๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง ๐™๐™š๐™–๐™ง๐™ฉ๐™จ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™ฌ๐™š๐™ก๐™˜๐™ค๐™ข๐™š๐™จ ๐™ช๐™จ ๐™ฌ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ ๐™œ๐™ง๐™–๐™˜๐™š. Through His perfect obedience, Jesus became the Savior who not only forgives our sins but also strengthens us to overcome temptation and remain faithful.

Whatever season you are in today, remember that ๐‰๐ž๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐š๐ฅ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ. Hold tightly to Him, trust His unfailing love, and find comfort in knowing that the One who became like us will never leave us nor fail us.

As we lift our voice, hearts, and hands to the Lord, may our faith grow stronger and louder than our voices.

He left His place in heaven and came to earth as a human. He experienced hunger, pain, tiredness, betrayal, sadness, temptation, and rejection just as we do. Because of this, He understands every difficulty we face. When we feel lonely, discouraged, or hurt, Jesus knows exactly how we feel and He is always there to comfort us.

โ€ŽAlthough Jesus was tempted in every way, He never sinned. He remained faithful to God, and became our Savior, who helps us overcome sin.
