SOCIAL NIGHT | The atmosphere of Parish Youth Day 2026 was filled with joy and entertainment as different ministries, homegrown talents, and even courageous impromptu performances took the stage and brought everyone together in celebration!

From familiar faces showcasing their talents to spontaneous performances that brought plenty of laughter and excitement, the evening became a wonderful opportunity for our courageous youth to relax, enjoy one another's company, and celebrate the gift of community.

The social night continued with a few exciting rounds of Bingo, adding even more fun and friendly competition to the evening!

COMMUNITY EXPOSURE | After the talks given by our speakers, it is time for the courageous youth of SAJP to take part in reflective and formative community exposure activities.

The first activity is centered on reflection, with the intention of allowing moments of deep thought, discerning on how they are being called to live out their faith and mission.

The second activity, the Rosary bracelet making aims to hone the participants' creativity and express their love to Our Blessed Mother.

CHIKA TA BAI | With two ears and one heart, the youth of SAJP attentively listened to the Chika Ta Bai segment, where they listened to seasoned members from the parish youth ministries within the Metro Cebu South District II.

At the conversation bench was our two guest speakers, Engr. Philip Joshua Timkang (Sto. NiΓ±o Vicariate Youth Coordinating Council Coordinator), Ms. Zera Clarita Maai Bercero (Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Francis - Naga Youth Coordinating Council), and Ms. Genesis Divine Ormillo (Former SAJPYCC Coordinator) as the moderator.

The Chika ta Bai tackles on common issues of the youth, at the same time urging the youth to heed Jesus's call to take courage in overcoming life's obstacles.

𝑺𝑽𝑫 @πŸπŸ“πŸŽ | Our second talk is anchored on the Life and Work of St. Arnold Janssen and the mission of the Society of the Divine Word, given by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Ariel Tampus, S.V.D.

This talk seeks to introduce our courageous Witnesses to the Word to the spirituality and missionary charism of the Society of the Divine Word, reinvigorate in them the spirit of mission, and deepen their devotion to St. Arnold Janssen, founder and father of the Society of the Divine Word.

As we commemorate 150 years of the Society of the Divine Word, may the life and example of St. Arnold Janssen inspire us to become faithful witnesses to the Word and courageous missionaries in our own little ways

ππŽπŽπ“π‡ π‡πŽπππˆππ† | After the first talk, the courageous youth of SAJP visited the various booths prepared by the Society of the Divine Word, the Salvatorian Sisters, the Legion of Mary, the Catechetical Ministry, the Divine Word Choir, the Ministry of Ushers and Usherettes, the Ministry of Altar Servers.

This is an opportunity for the young people of God to know the various organizations, especially in their roles in the parish, and the entire Church as a whole.

His talk is centered on the theme of this year's Parish Youth Day "Take Courage, I have overcome the world", urging the participants to take courage in facing contemporary problems among the young generation.

The preliminaries are being hosted by Mr. Ikel Cacho (Assistant Coordinator - Internal) and Ms. Ma. Lina Dejino (Sto. NiΓ±o de Cebu Youth Chorale President).

Today’s Holy Mass celebrates the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who, as Pope Pius XII beautifully expressed in Ad Caeli Reginam, β€œwhile wielding royal power, is on fire with a mother’s love.”

As we begin this celebration, may we be guided by Mary, Queen of Heaven, to encounter Christ more deeply and to take courage in living out our faith as young people of God.

Registration for the Parish Youth Day 2026 is officially OPEN!

Our courageous youth of St. Arnold Janssen Parish are gathering as we prepare for the Opening Mass at 7:00 AM, marking the beginning of this year's Parish Youth Day celebration.

Adding to the excitement is the warm welcome from the San Roquenians Drum and Bugle Corp, greeting our participants with a spectacular tribal performance.
