Last Saturday, January 3, the Ministry of Altar Servers with Rev. Fr. Nomil Rico Arsolon held their annual Fellowship and Team-Building Day held at Villa Teresita Resort, it was more than just a simple outingโit was a well-deserved time of recreation and leisure after the series of demanding yet grace-filled activities during Misa de Gallo, the Christmas season, and the New Year celebrations.
Through fun and engaging games, our servers were challenged to sharpen their focus, strengthen cooperation, and enhance coordination as one team. Trivia activities also allowed them to recall and deepen their knowledge about their sacred service at the altar, reminding them of the meaning and responsibility of their ministry.
One of the highlights of the day was the recognition of the Most Outstanding Altar Server of the Year, awarded to Jack Noe Becari. His dedication, discipline, faithfulness in attendance, reverence in service, and willingness to serve wholeheartedly made him truly deserving of this honor. He was presented with a certificate of recognition and an image of San Pedro Calungsod, our model of youthful faith and service.
After sharing lunch together, the rest of the day was spent in fellowshipโlaughing, bonding, and strengthening the spirit of brotherhood that unites the Altar Server Ministry. Indeed, this gathering renewed not only their energy but also their commitment to serve God and His people with joy and love.
