𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐀 𝐒𝐓𝐎. 𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐒 𝐃𝐄 𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐕𝐀! 🎉🙏

A meaningful beginning to our fiesta celebration took place as His Excellency, Most Rev. Alberto “Abet” S. Uy, D.D., Archbishop of Cebu, blessed the newly built Our Lady of Fatima Grotto, generously donated by the Parish Youth Coordination Council. This beautiful addition to our parish stands as a lasting expression of faith, devotion, and love for Our Lady, providing our community with a sacred space for prayer and reflection.

With hearts united in faith, love, and devotion, the Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parish – Talaga joyfully continued the celebration with the Pontifical Mass in honor of our beloved Patron, Sto. Tomas de Villanueva. The Holy Mass was presided over by Archbishop Alberto “Abet” Uy, together with our dedicated Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Milton Medida, and the other concelebrating priests.

The sacred celebration brought together the clergy, religious, parish organizations, youth, and faithful community in a spirit of unity and thanksgiving. As one parish family, we continue to journey together in faith, hope, and service, inspired by the example of Sto. Tomas de Villanueva and guided by the loving intercession of Our Lady of Fatima.

May this fiesta celebration remind us of the blessings we receive when we come together in faith and continue to serve God and one another with humility, love, and devotion.

A beautiful celebration filled with faith, joy, and togetherness! ❤️ Today, we gathered at Talaga Parish Church for the Holy Mass as we celebrate our community’s fiesta. It was a wonderful moment to come together, give thanks, and honor our faith.

After the Mass, the celebration continued with a procession, where everyone joined together in prayer and devotion. With every step, we shared not only our faith but also the joy and unity that make our fiesta truly special. 🙏🎉

May this fiesta continue to bring our community closer, strengthen our faith, and fill our hearts with gratitude and happiness.

During the First Novena Mass, the members 𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙔𝘾𝘾 renewed their commitments once again to strengthen and remind them of their responsibility to serve our Church of Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parish.⛪

With their hearts strengthened by faith and commitments renewed, they continue to answer the call to serve not merely as a responsibility, but as a humble offering of love to God and His Church.👏

The Parish Youth Coordinating Council successfully conducted their coordination meeting with the different ministries. The meeting focused on the preparations for the upcoming fiesta, ensuring that everyone is informed and ready to take part of the tasks.

With teamwork, commitment, and active participation, the PYCC continues to work together in creating a meaningful direction for the parish.

LOOK | GROTTO PROJECT UPDATE! 🎗

As of September 3, 2026, here’s the latest update on the status of our Grotto Project.

The Parish Youth Coordinating Council (PYCC) Tomasians is grateful for the continuous support and guidance of our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Milton Medida, and for the support of our PPC-WESTYS, especially Tatay Flory, Mr. Florentino Ortega, for his generous support and assistance throughout this project.

We are also grateful to everyone who continues to contribute their time, effort, and resources. Every donation and helping hand brings us one step closer to completing our grotto.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: 𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘𝐀 𝐓𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐈: 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏

Our PYCC representatives have joined the district youth camp in San Guillermo Aquitana Parish- Dalaguete Prorr on August 21-22, 2026 of the District 3 Youth Coordinating Council (DYCC- Distreto Tres).

It was a wild but meaningful activity, our representatives had so much fun.

The following officers are our representatives: Rizalyn Carilimdiliman- PYCC Coordinator, Kent Uriel Cartesiano- PYCC Secretary, Nadger Gealon- Services Chairperson & Allexyne Yesha Flores- Educations Assistant Chairperson.

Day 1 had a lot of perspective inputs by the speaker. "We talked about the youth as effective listeners through the noise of the world" Uriel said. It was then followed by a collaborative team dynamics where each participant had been distributed to teams. "Afterwards, we talked about the role of the youth in the church where we shared insights in it." Uriel included. The holy hour has followed whereas all representatives got to confess their sins and repent to the Lord. Moving on, to the highlight of the District Youth Camp 2026 (DYC 2026) each team had a candidate for a Mr. and Mrs. DYC 2026, thereafter, each team got to perform their respective presentations in relation to the camp's theme. The DYC commenced with a thanksgiving mass.

Our PYCC Officers and SOCCOM had a productive virtual meeting to finalize the preparations for the month of September and October namely for the upcoming fiesta of Talaga.

As the church fiesta draws near, the STVP Youth gather to plan, prepare, and make every upcoming activity count!

Coming together, sharing ideas, and giving our time to prepare for the upcoming activities and church fiesta—all for a celebration that brings our community closer.

SOON TO RISE | BIRHEN SA FATIMA GROTTO PROJECT

The Parish Youth Coordinating Council (PYCC) is pleased to present the Birhen sa Fatima Grotto Project, a project dedicated to strengthening our parish community’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The grotto will serve as a peaceful space for prayer, reflection, and fellowship, where the youth and the entire parish community can gather and deepen their faith.

Located beside the Sacristy within the church grounds, this project is envisioned to become a lasting place of prayer and devotion to Birhen sa Fatima.

We humbly invite our parishioners, friends, and generous supporters to be part of this project through donations, material sponsorships, or other forms of assistance.

A successful Taizé Prayer was held on the first Saturday of the month of August.

A heartfelt thank you to all the youth who dedicated their time and presence, making this prayer gathering a meaningful and peaceful encounter with God. May we continue to grow in faith, unity, and service as one community.
