Jesus makes it plain that following Him requires unwavering commitment. Here are key truths to help us walk this path with purpose:
1. ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ โ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐
Donโt let your vision drift backward or cling to old ways of living. Fix your eyes on the present work God is doing and the future He has prepared for you.
2. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ฝ๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐
Matthew 13:44
โHeavenโs kingdom realm can be illustrated like this: โA person discovered that there was hidden treasure in a field. Upon finding it, he hid it again. Because of uncovering such treasure, he was overjoyed and sold all that he possessed to buy the entire field just so he could have the treasure.โโ
When the kingdom becomes our highest priority, every other choice falls into proper perspective.
3. ๐๐๐ผ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐๐๐๐๐พ๐ ๐๐๐ฟโ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ผ๐พ๐
1 Corinthians 4:20
โFor the kingdom realm of God comes with power, not simply impressive words.โ
Pray with confidence, believing God will save, deliver, heal, and transform lives โ including your own.
4. ๐๐๐ฝ๐๐ผ๐พ๐ ๐ผ ๐๐๐๐๐ฟ๐๐๐ฟ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐
Matthew 13:31-32, 33
[31] โHeavenโs kingdom can be compared to the tiny mustard seed that a man takes and plants in his field. [32] Although the smallest of all the seeds, it eventually grows into the greatest of garden plants, becoming a tree for birds to come and build their nests in its branches.โ
[33] โHeavenโs kingdom can be compared to yeast that a woman takes and blends into three measures of flour and then waits until all the dough rises.โ
Like a mustard seed or yeast, let your faith spread far and wide, touching every corner of the world around you.
5. ๐พ๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐
Matthew 13:47-48
[47] โHeavenโs kingdom realm is like a fisherman who casts his large net into the lake, catching an assortment of fish. [48] When the net was filled, the fishermen hauled it up on the shore, and they all sat down to sort out their catch. They collected the good in baskets and threw the bad away.โ
We are called to reach everyone with the gospel, trusting God to separate what is good and right in His time.
6. ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐ โ ๐ฟ๐๐โ๐ ๐ฝ๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐
Luke 16:16
โThe law of Moses and the revelation of the prophets have prepared you for the arrival of the kingdom announced by John. Since that time, the wonderful news of Godโs kingdom is being preached, and peopleโs hearts burn with extreme passion to receive it.โ
Pursue the kingdom actively โ let your heart burn with desire to know God more deeply and advance His work.
7. ๐พ๐๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐๐พ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐๐๐
Luke 11:18
โIf it is true that Satan casts out his own demons through me, how could his kingdom remain intact?โ
The kingdom of God is stronger than any opposition. Walk in the victory Jesus has already won for us.
