"𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙜𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙙'𝙨 𝙜𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙖𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢" - 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙪𝙩𝙪

Salvatorian Pastoral Care for Children-Women and Children Protection Program (STVP-WCPP) of Santo Tomas de Villanueva Parish (STVP) celebrated family day last March 11, 2023. This gathering of families of proud Educational Assistance Program (EAP) Beneficiaries are made possible with the commitment and dedication of Core Team and CRA Youths.

The event started with an interactive kamustahan along with meaningful inputs. While the parents are attentively listening to the talks from resource speakers, Em Santillan and Father Noel, the children are enjoying the coloring activity and book reading facilitated by CRA Youths aside.

In order to make the day even more entertaining, children played games with their peers and parents filling the venue with their cheers and laughs.

Parents can be very busy with work and household chores where living in the same roof can still feel distant for some children. It is important for us to to set a time aside focused on getting closer with our love ones and let every member feel the essence and joy of having a family.

ＬＯＯＫ| 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗬 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦

100 children from different sitios in Pardo, Cebu City attended the 6th Children's Congress at La Fortuna Hotel last November 26, 2022. The day was accomplished with the children showcasing their talents & skills in creating different crafts and was filled with joyous moments as they played various games to their hearts' content.

As a token of appreciation, the children received gifts and certificates for attending. It was indeed a splendid moment to celebrate this event with the children, as we wish to see every child grinning with genuine delight & contentment, may the children's happiness spread farther.

We are expecting to see new and familiar faces in our next venture. See ya mga ka-CRA!

Last November 12, 2022 (Saturday), 54 children from San Pedro Pio Chapel of Barangay Cogon Pardo culminated the Book Reading and Feeding Program. The day was accomplished with children showcasing their talents and receiving their certificates as a token of appreciation for their time and efforts in completing the 12 sessions.

Indeed. We have touched a neighborhood's attention for our service towards children. May the contagious vibe reach further as we hope to see every child smiling with pure happiness and contentment.

We are expecting to see new and familiar faces in our next venture. See ya!

LOOK | CULMINATING PARTY HIGHLIGHT VIDEO

Let us look back at the joyous and successful celebration of the Book Reading & Feeding Program at Cabancalan 1 as it officially ended last October 22, 2002.

It is heart-warming and a proud moment to see the children showcase their talents, wits and their happiness towards the Book Reading and Feeding Program as it ends.

The whole duration of the culminating party was filled with smiles and laughter, both from the children, youth facilitators and adults who supported and made the said program possible.

Instead of tears, goodbyes were extended with joyous smile from the children of Cabancalan 1cas they officially ended the Book Reading and Feeding Program last October 22, 2022.

A total of 50 children received their certificates and awards as an acknowledgement for their effort and determination in completing the program sessions held for 12 Saturdays.

Moreover, the day was filled with cheers and yells as the children imparted their talents in the crowd. Whether it was dancing or singing, the kids were able to excel and seize their moment as they conquer the stage.

This may be the end of Book Reading and Feeding Program for Cabancalan however, this is also a beginning of a more meaningful journey ahead.

We can't wait for the next stop! Join the ride and let's experience it together.

Here's to more Ｓａｔｕｒｄａｙ 🅢 to anticipate!

Child Rights Advocates took another purposeful venture as they regularly conduct 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 for twelve (12) Saturdays.

13th of August marks the first day of the reimplementation of the program after a long break due to health and safety concerns. As arranged, CRA Youths are divided into four (4) groups scheduled with chronological Saturdays for their own sessions.

Spearheaded by the Child Rights Advocates of Santo Tomas de Villanueva Parish and fifty (50) children with ages ranging from 7-10 enthusiastically heeded the call as they gathered in 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧 1, 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐨 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 9:00 𝐚𝐦 - 12:00 𝐩𝐦 . Thus, the first month of the Book Reading and Feeding Program ended with significant learning and filled stomachs.

Mark your 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 starting 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 for we have yet to celebrate the re-implementation of 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 after the long wait.

Anticipate for another story to tell, food to enjoy, place to visit and CRAs to meet.
