Yesterday, we joyfully celebrated the Blessing of the Offices of the Parish Caritas, Parish Catechists, and the Saint John Paul II Family and Life Pastoral Care Center.

As we continue our journey toward becoming a Church Fully Alive, we recognize the importance of creating spaces where our ministries, pastoral workers, and volunteers can collaborate, serve, and respond more effectively to the growing needs of our community.

These offices are more than just working spaces—they are places of service, accompaniment, formation, and mission, where hearts are ready to listen, hands are ready to help, and lives are touched by the love of Christ.

May God bless these spaces and all those who will serve through them. May they become places where our parish community can find welcome, guidance, care, and hope as we continue to journey together.

May this formation bring us to a deeper understanding of our faith and strengthen our commitment to our mission of becoming a Church Fully Alive.

Yesterday, our Chapel Leaders Association (CLA) gathered for a meaningful Team Building Activity at El Salvador Resort, Danao City, Cebu.

More than a day of fellowship and recreation, this activity provided an opportunity for our chapel leaders to strengthen relationships, build trust, and improve teamwork.

May this team building inspire them to become better leaders, and more united servants of God and His people.

Together, we listen. Together, we serve. Together, we journey as one Church Fully Alive.

LET US PRAY | ORATIO IMPERATA
For the Protection of Our Schools and Children

Almighty and loving Father, You are our refuge and strength, our help in times of fear and distress.

We come before You with troubled hearts because of the violence and shootings that have brought fear to our schools, families, and communities.

Lord, protect our children and young people. Keep them safe wherever they study, play, and gather. Grant wisdom and vigilance to parents, teachers, school personnel, and all entrusted with their care.

Comfort those who have been wounded and traumatized, and console families and communities living in grief and fear.

Touch those who carry anger, hatred, loneliness, or thoughts of harming themselves or others. Send them people who will listen and help, and lead them toward healing, peace, and hope.

Grant wisdom and courage to our government officials, law-enforcement agencies, school authorities, and Church leaders. Help us recognize warning signs, address the causes of violence,
protect the vulnerable, and never remain indifferent.

Make our homes places of love and prayer, our schools places of safety and formation, and our communities places where every life is valued and protected.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, watch over us.
Señor Santo Niño, protect the children of Cebu and keep them close to Your loving heart.

May the Holy Spirit renew your strength and deepen your love for God and His people. May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Priests, always accompany and protect you, and may San Pedro Calungsod inspire you to remain steadfast in faith and courageous in mission.
