Today, we honor and celebrate your faithful vocation, selfless service, and unwavering commitment to God's mission. Thank you for being a guiding light, a compassionate shepherd, and an inspiration to our community through your dedication and love for Christ.

May the Lord continue to bless you with good health, wisdom, strength, and abundant grace as you lead His people with humility and faith. Know that your ministry is deeply appreciated, and your prayers and sacrifices continue to make a difference in the lives of many.

O Jesus, make us remember that when the world is cold and dreary and when we know not where to turn for comfort, there is always one spot bright and cheerful - the sanctuary of Your Body and Blood. When we are in desolation, when all who are dear to us have passed away like summer flowers and none are left to us or care for us, we whisper to our troubled souls that there is One who will not abandon us, One whose love will never change - it is You, Lord, in the Blessed Sacrament.😇❤️

𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗔 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥, 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗗𝗘𝗞. — 𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟭𝟭𝟬:𝟰🤍

Today, we joyfully celebrate the 𝟐𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 of 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗵 𝗟. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇.

With grateful hearts, we thank God for the gift of Father Ralph’s priestly vocation and for his years of dedicated service to the Church and the faithful. Through his ministry, he has faithfully shared God’s Word, administered the Sacraments, and guided many souls in their journey of faith.

As he commemorates another milestone in his priesthood, we pray that the Lord will continue to bless him with good health, wisdom, strength, and unwavering zeal in carrying out his sacred mission. May Christ, the Good Shepherd, always be the source of his joy, hope, and inspiration.

Let us unite in prayer and thanksgiving for Father Ralph on this special day.

𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝑻𝒂𝒊𝒛é 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓

With hearts united in faith and prayer, the PYCC and Acolytes gathered for a peaceful evening of Taizé Prayer a night filled with silence, worship, reflection, and God’s presence.

In the quiet moments of prayer and the gentle glow of candlelight, we were reminded that even in silence, God speaks to every heart. Through every hymn sung and every prayer offered, we found comfort, hope, and peace in Him.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made this spiritual gathering meaningful and prayerful. May this experience strengthen our faith and inspire us to continue serving God with humble and faithful hearts. ✨

“𝘼𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙨 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙.” 🤍🙏

The Sta. Monica Parish Youth and Acolytes humbly gathered for the Holy Hour, offering our time, prayers, and hearts to the Lord. May His presence continue to guide us in faith, service, and love.

We were also blessed by the inspiring message of 𝗦𝗿. 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗖. 𝗢𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮, 𝗗𝗦𝗖, together with 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗟. 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗴𝗮, 𝗗𝗦𝗖 𝗔𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁, reminding us that even in suffering, especially for the innocent, God never leaves us alone. In every pain and trial, His love and presence remain beside us.

We would also like to thank our Parish Priest, 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗵 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘇, for giving us the opportunity to experience and deepen our faith through this blessed Holy Hour. ✨

𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 || 𝑺𝑨𝑮𝑨𝑳𝑨 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 || 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟮

Held on May 30, 2026, at Sta. Monica Parish, Cawayan, Cebu, the annual Sagala became a beautiful expression of faith and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The celebration began with the solemn March of the Ave Maria led by the catechists and angels, followed by the procession of the different Reynas and Reyna Elena. The significance of each title was shared, reminding everyone of Mary's virtues and role in our faith.

The Holy Mass highlighted the purity, humility, and obedience of the Blessed Virgin Mary, encouraging the faithful to follow her example and embody these virtues in their daily lives.

The celebration concluded with a solemn procession, uniting the community in prayer and devotion as we honor our Blessed Mother.

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
||𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭||

After a long-awaited return, the Children's Congress was successfully held on May 30, 2026, as the culminating activity of the Flores de Mayo celebration at Sta. Monica Parish, Cawayan, Cebu.

The day began with the Mary Look-Alike Competition and Presentation Competition, showcasing the faith, creativity, and talents of children from the different chapels. In the afternoon, participants engaged in the Quiz Bowl Competition and enjoyed the Children's Bazaar, where they exchanged their earned tickets for school supplies.

More than a day of activities and friendly competition, the event became a meaningful celebration of faith, learning, and fellowship among the children of our parish.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all sponsors, volunteers, parents, catechists, and supporters who made this event possible. Most especially, thank you to our beloved Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Ralph L. Perez for his guidance and support in bringing back this meaningful activity after many years.
