The Virgen de los Remedios Parish through it's Parish Caritas conducted "Adopt a Family" program. This program aims to help families who were victims of severe flooding at Sitio Menulida and Paglaum, Barangay Calamba Cebu, City during the devastation of Typhoon Tino.

With grateful hearts, we thank our generous chapel leaders and their members and all the sponsors. Your generosity is a beacon of hope for the families affected.

We also like to thank Rev. Fr. Peter Monteron, Rev. Fr. Jonas Yap, Parish Caritas Volunteers, for makinh this happen.

โœจ Grateful Pilgrims: A Three-Year Journey of Love and Service โœจ

On May 1, 2025, Virgen De los Remedios Parish A. Lopez Labangon joyfully marked its 3rd Anniversary as an institutionalized and recognized Parish Caritas under Cebu Caritas Inc. The celebration began with a solemn Holy Mass presided by Rev. Fr. Gab Bellino, joined by Parish Caritas recipients, volunteers, stakeholders, and partner communities.
A true milestone of mission and mercy, the day was made more meaningful with the blessing and turnover of our newest livelihood initiative Panadera sa Parokya, in partnership with CIT Universityโ€™s Community Extension Services and NSTP.

From hydroponic lettuce to food carts, candle-making to vending machines and dishwashing liquid making, and now a parish bakery โ€” we remain faithful to our mission:
not to give fish forever, but to teach our Anawims how to fish. ๐ŸŽฃ๐Ÿ’›
The celebration beautifully concluded with a simple salo-salo, recognition of our valued stakeholders, partner communities, and tireless volunteers, and moving testimonies on how being a Parish Caritas volunteer is truly a wonderful and life-giving journey.

LOOK | MEDICAL MISSION 2024

In celebration of the 64th Annual Fiesta in honor of Virgen de los Remedios, the Parish Caritas successfully conducted a Medical Mission last December 7, 2024.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all who made this activity possible, especially Mr. and Mrs. Orlando and Daisy Palompon, the dedicated doctors and nurses from Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, the CIT-U College of Nursing, XALmeds, and our other generous benefactors.
