FLORES DE MAYO | Today’s pilgrims for the Flores de Mayo in our Parish were the Sto. Niño Chapel – Cabancalan II, Sto. Niño Chapel – Villabulsita, and San Roque Chapel, together with their chapel officers and our Zone President, Chapel catechists, and participating children.

The children joyfully offered flowers to our Blessed Mother, making this celebration a beautiful expression of faith, unity, and love for Mary, this was followed by a Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Eligio Suico.

May these simple offerings continue to guide our young ones closer to God and strengthen their faith as they grow in the life of the Church.

FLORES DE MAYO & CATECHISM 2026

Last May 4, 2026, the Zone 2 Chapels San Agustin Chapel, San Isidro Labrador Chapel, Sto. Niño Chapel - Cabancalan 2, San Roque Chapel, and the Sto. Niño Chapel - Villabulsita officially began their Catechism gatherings, welcoming children to learn the basic teachings of the Catholic faith. For the first week, the children reflected on God’s beautiful creation, especially the animals and the Seven Days of Creation.

As part of our month-long celebration, there will be a Holy Rosary at 2:00 PM, followed by the Flores de Mayo offering.

May this month long activities and celebration continue to guide our children closer to the chapel and to the Church, helping them grow not only in age, but also in faith, love, and devotion to God.

VIVA SAN ISIDRO LABRADOR! | Today marks the beginning of the 9-day Novena of the San Isidro Labrador Chapel in honor of their beloved patron, San Isidro Labrador. The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dean Mangubat, gathering the faithful in prayer, thanksgiving, and devotion.

In his homily, Fr. Dean emphasized the message of the Gospel that Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. He reminded us that just as branches cannot bear fruit without being connected to the vine, we too cannot grow spiritually without remaining connected to Christ.

As this sacred celebration begins, may the life of San Isidro Labrador inspire us to live with humility, hard work, and unwavering faith in God.

We warmly invite everyone to join and take part in the remaining days of the novena as we continue to honor our patron together in faith and unity.

FLORES DE MAYO 2026 | In celebration of the Month of May, our chapel joyfully begins Flores de Mayo and Chapel Catechism, a special gathering where children are guided to grow in faith and devotion. Through this program, they learn the basic teachings and prayers of the Church while experiencing the beauty and tradition of Flores de Mayo.

In Zone 2, Five Chapels will be conducting Chapel Catechism
• San Agustin Chapel
• San Isidro Labrador Chapel
• Sto. Niño Chapel - Cabancalan II
• Sto. Niño Chapel - Villabulsita
• San Roque Chapel

Starting today, May 4, 2026, marks the beginning of our month-long Catechism, held Monday to Friday. Chapels will be listing the names of participating children. You may pick the chapel nearest to you and be guided by their respective Catechism schedules.

We warmly invite all children to join us in this meaningful journey of faith this May.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF ZINDA T. GOMEZ

A dedicated member of our community and our Church, who faithfully served and helped shape the vision of San Agustin Chapel into what it is today.

She served as a Block Leader in our chapel, and a WAF member at our parish, offering her time, effort, and heart in service to God and to the people. Her life was a reflection of quiet dedication, unwavering faith, and genuine love for the community.

Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy of service and kindness will continue to live on in our hearts and in the life of our chapel.

Thank you for your service, your love, and your faith. You will always be remembered.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May Zinda rest in Peace, Amen.

The San Agustin Chapel honors the life of our dearly departed, Zinda T. Gomez as we gather in prayer and mourning during her final wake. A Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Dean Mangubat, offered in thanksgiving for a life that has greatly contributed to the growth and development of our chapel community.

Through her dedication and service, Zinda has left a lasting impact on our chapel, a testament to a life lived in faith and love for God.

A simple tribute was also prepared by the SPCYO, as a gesture of gratitude and remembrance for all that she has shared with the community.

As we commend her soul to God, may we find comfort in the faith she lived and the love she gave.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon her. May Zinda Rest in Peace.
