𝙴𝚟𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚖 𝚊𝚜 𝚊 𝙻𝚒𝚏𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚢𝚕𝚎✨
In Matthew 5, Jesus calls us the salt and the light before He even asks us to let our light shine. He established who we are first:
🧂𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑬𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒉 — meant to be distinct, influential, and consistent in our character.
💡𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 & 𝑨 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒐𝒏 𝒂 𝑯𝒊𝒍𝒍 — visible, reflecting Christ’s light, and impossible to hide.
Our faith is personal, but it was never meant to be hidden. Evangelism isn't just a single event or a one-time conversion—it's a lifestyle of discipleship lived across three dimensions:
• 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝘿𝙎 (1 Peter 3:15) — speaking the gospel with clarity and reverence.
• 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙆𝙎 (Matthew 5:16) — acting with love, humility, and integrity so that others see God’s hand in us.
• 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙒𝙄𝙏𝙉𝙀𝙎𝙎 — living a daily life so consistent that our actions never contradict the truth we proclaim.
Our good deeds are not a substitute for God’s Word—they are a living testimony of what He has done in our lives. We don’t shine to draw attention to ourselves, but to reflect Jesus, the true Light.
When our words match our walk, our lives become an invitation for others to look beyond us. May the way we speak, handle conflict, and love others open doors for people to see Him and give glory to our Father in heaven. 🤍
