Updates | 29th NatConIloilo

Day 1 of our National Convention was truly a moment of grace and unity as the new set of officers were officially elected. We are filled with joy and pride to share that our dear President, Fr. Federiz “Bombit” Cantiller, CSsR, has been elected as the National Treasurer.

Today, we witness another meaningful milestone as the newly elected officers take their oath during the Closing Mass—entrusting their leadership and service to God.

May this new chapter be guided with wisdom, humility, and a heart for mission.

A Day of Service and Gratitude.

What a truly fulfilling day of service yesterday!

The DVP Core Group, assisted by the brave men and women of the 53rd Engineering Brigade, Army of the Visayas Command, headed by Sgt. Ronald Leon, PA, successfully conducted relief operations. Our focus was on providing much-needed aid to the senior citizens and persons with disabilities in the area.

Despite the scorching heat, the genuine smiles of those who received the goods were an instant reward, making the entire experience incredibly worthwhile and a memory we'll always cherish.

In a moment of solemn reflection, we were also blessed to celebrate a funeral mass for one of the earthquake victims in Medellin. Our deepest condolences go out to the bereaved family.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the donors who helped make this operation possible — those who shared their goods, in-kind donations, and financial support. Your contributions were the lifeline of this mission.

To our volunteers and members who worked tirelessly to pack and prepare all the relief items — your dedication made everything possible.

To San Carlos Mayor Seminary, headed by Rev. Fr. Mhar Balili, thank you for allowing us to use your space for repacking and receiving donations.

And to the 53rd Engineering Brigade, Army of the Visayas Command, thank you for providing security and manpower throughout the activity.

✨ The DVP Cebu Chapter gathered today for their monthly meeting at the serene grounds of the Daughters of St. Camillus in Talamban, Cebu City.


It was a fruitful and spirit-filled encounter, marked by fellowship, meaningful discussions, and shared mission.

Fr. CJ extended his heartfelt gratitude to our gracious hosts for their warm welcome and generous hospitality, which truly made everyone feel at home.

The meeting also became extra special as the birthday celebrants for the months of July and August were joyfully acknowledged, receiving cakes and warm greetings from the body. 🙏💙

Together, we continue to journey in service and faith.
