A training on Organic Farming Inputs sponsored by LGU Poro's Department of Agriculture through their Department Head, Mrs. Vangie Laguna, was conducted yesterday, June 16, 2023, at Mercedes Chapel. This activity is part of the parish caritas developmental program and was attended by the Laudato Si' Farmers Association together with the parish caritas volunteers. The parish aims to promote food sustainability to help improve the quality of life of the people in the community.

University of San Carlos educators pledged to take action in response to the climate emergency.

As part of the parish caritas developmental program through the MSC Center for the Poor, the parish welcomed guests from the University of San Carlos faculty and staff for their environmental tour in Laudato Si' Center, Cansuting, Poro.
The activity started with a eucharistic celebration by Rev. Fr. Joel M. Bonza, MSC which was followed by a discussion on climate emergency, the Laudato Si' goals and showcasing the different programs/activities of the parish on caring and protecting our common home and the ongoing developments in the Laudato Si' Center towards environmental sustainability.
Thank you, USC educators, for visiting us; it's a priviledge. We hope that you will be one of us in making nature protection our responsibility.

In celebration of Sto. Niño Parish Caritas Day last June 12, 2023, the Parish Pastoral Council led by our parish priest Rev. Fr. Joel M. Bonza, MSC gave our caritas volunteers certificate of appreciation for their outstanding dedication and continued commitment to volunteering their time and effort in helping in bettering the lives of our fellow brothers and sisters in need and for having a heart of service.
A renewal of commitment to the parish caritas by the volunteers was also conducted during the Parish Caritas Day.
Thank you to all the volunteers and to all the donors. We were able to implement our Parish Caritas and MSC Center for the Poor programs/activities and reach out to the peripheries of the society because of your love and generosity.

Karong umaabot na Sabado, Abril 29, 2023, ang SNP Caritas inubanan sa SNP Youth Ministry mopahigayon og outreach program, Give Hope, sa mga kabataan sa Brgy. Pagsa, Poro nga 4-10 years old. Adunay catechism, lecture on environmental protection and parish laudato si' programs, ug feeding para sa mga kabataan. Ang programa magsugod 1:30pm. Giawhag ang mga ginikanan sa pagsuporta niining programa sa atong parokya.
Pahinumdom pagpadala palihug og tubig, paypay, ug extra tshrt sa mga bata tungod sa kainit sa panahon.
