By God's grace, we have been transforming lives in Cebu, the Philippines and beyond since 1971. 🙌 The group was able to own a lot and establish a chapel.

HIALSMI started as a house fellowship that composed of 20 individuals from 10 families back in 1971. This was with the help of Miss Mollie E. Baird (an American missionary) hence the church was named after her with Assembly of God as its covering. 51 years later by the grace of God, an average of 500 members (comprising children, youths and adults) gather on Sundays for Worship Celebrations/Life Group Meetings and midweek to intercede for revival/ spiritual awakening among the 8 Pillars of the Philippines and beyond. We have also produced countless professionals from the poorest among the poor who are now making huge impact in different spheres of society here in the country and abroad. TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY!!!

Sunday Worship Celebration | MISSION! When we feel, what God feels | Matthew 24:13-14 | Rev. Gedito Aleviado

29/09/2026

1 John 3:8
The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

We waste so much of our energy trying to hide our sins, secret battles, but Jesus didn’t just come to pay for our sins, He came to overcome the world.

Sin.Shame.Guilt.
Jesus came to tear those walls down.

Church was never meant to be a museum for perfect people; it’s a hospital for the broken. You don't have to fight these battles in isolation anymore. You don't belong to your past mistakes, and you don't belong to your current struggles. You belong to the King who has already won the war. When Jesus breaks our chains, He doesn't just leave us standing there He turns us around and uses our story to bless someone else. God uses our healed wounds to show others that healing is possible. His mission becomes our mission, to step out of our comfort zones, reach out to the lost, least and last.

Mission does not start on ourselves, it begins with what God has done to us.

Before we become Christ ambassadors, He first reconciled us to Himself. He changes us to help others reconciled to Him.

No matter how hard the wind blows, I am grounded in a love that doesn't move.

"I have set the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand. I shall not be shaken." — Psalm 16:8

This verse talks about positioning—keeping God right in front of us and by our side. It doesn't mean life will suddenly be perfect, but it means we have a solid foundation. When you know you are supported by a strength greater than your own, you can face the day with genuine peace and a calm heart.

When your foundation is set, nothing can shake your peace.
