Recollect Augustinian Youth USJR Basak A religious youth organization compromising different departments particular in USJ-R Basak Campus.

The Recollect Augustinian Youth (RAY) - USJR Basak is a religious organization open to all high school students in the Josenian community. This organization aims to cultivate prayerful members who embody the Augustinian charism, practice Marian devotion, and pray for the saints, religious men and women, and priests. It also works closely with the USJ-R Campus Ministry Office and the Christian Lif

e Formation Cluster, rendering its service in the religious activities in the university. In this A.Y. 2021-2022, RAY - USJR Basak is officially launching in the virtual realm in order to uphold its services and practices even in the online setup. Thus, this page shall be the organizationโ€™s main medium of communication to the public. Especially in these present times, RAY - USJR Basak strives to remain prayerful, to serve Godโ€™s people, and to direct all glory to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Todayโ€™s CARAS and RAY formation. We provided members with a deeper understanding of the organizationโ€™s mission, values, and liturgical responsibilities. Through guided discussions, catechesis, and practical training, participants were oriented not only to the history and structure of the RAY and CARAS, but also the spiritual significance of their role during Eucharistic celebrations. The program emphasizes that altar service is more than a set of duties; it is a form of ministry that flows from baptism and calls each member to reverence, discipline, and active participation in the life of the Church.

Beyond liturgical skills, the formation also sought to strengthen the faith of each member by fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. Group reflections, prayers, and fellowship activities created space for participants to grow in their relationship with God and with one another, rooted in the spirituality of the Augustinian Recollects. As CARAS and RAY continue to form young people, this gathering stands as a reminder that true service is grounded in a living faith one that is nurtured through ongoing formation, committed service, and a heart open to Godโ€™s call.
