HIRING ANNOUNCEMENT
The Philippine Augustinians Development Office Inc. (PADO) announces the hiring of qualified applicants for Technical Development Support Officer.
Overall Objective of the Position:
The Technical Development Support Officer position aims to ensure effective and efficient delivery of technical services and development programs of the Philippine Augustinians Development Office Inc. to achieve established organizational goals and objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Project Development
• Conceptualizes projects in line with the programs and thrusts of PADO for its stakeholder’s/commissions and foundations in coordination with Deputy and Director.
• Assists the Deputy in identifying projects and partners to achieve the goals of PADO.
• Writes concept notes and develops to full project proposals approved projects for submission to identified partners of PADO.
2. Project Management
• Develops long-term and short-term project implementation plans for PADO projects.
• Ensures effective and efficient project implementation of PADO projects in its areas of coverage.
• Coordinates with project team/s if any to ensure proper project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Conducts field monitoring visits to project sites to monitor and assess project progress and to provide guidance in its implementation.
3. Technical Support & Trainings
• Provides appropriate technical support to stakeholder’s/commissions as part of the service areas of PADO
• Identifies technical support needs of stakeholder’s/commissions in relation PADO focus service areas in coordination with Deputy and Director of PADO.
• Organizes and conducts trainings, strategic planning, events or activities for stakeholder’s/commissions as identified and based on assessments.
• Facilitates the conduct of researches or identified studies supported by PADO.
• Partners with organizations which can provide technical support to PADO service areas.
Other Tasks:
• Supports the Deputy in the resource mobilization, strategic planning to raise funds for priority projects of the Province/PADO.
• Regularly updates the Deputy on project progress and provides strategies or proposed solutions on problems encountered.
Reportorial tasks:
• Prepares accomplishment, progress, and other types of reports on a periodic basis as required by immediate superior.
• Submits project financial reports as required.
Job Specifications:
- Educational Attainment: College Graduate preferably Management Engineering, Social Work or other related courses
- Related Work Experience: 2-3 years experience in Program Development and Management;
- Minimum Skills/Attributes:
• Physical: Able to work and travel around offices of interest
• Communication: Can communicate effectively both verbal and written, good people relation skill; proficiency in writing proposals.
• Computer: Microsoft office skills- excel, word, powerpoint,
• Technical: Project management skills ; presentation skills; planning and organizing skills
• Leadership: Able to lead a team, to work effectively with others.
• Level of Confidentiality: Very High level of confidentiality
