FIFTH DAY OF THE NOVENA | The parish community continued the Fifth Day of the Novena in honor of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, with the celebration of the Holy Mass presided over by Most Rev. Ruben C. Labajo, Bishop of the Diocese of Prosperidad, as main celebrant and preacher. The celebration also observed the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels, reminding the faithful of God’s loving care and protection through His heavenly messengers.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the Anointing of the Sick, through which the Church prayed for the strengthening, healing, and consolation of those experiencing illness and physical weakness. The sacred rite became a visible expression of the parish’s call to be a listening and compassionate Church—one that accompanies people in their moments of suffering and brings them the consoling presence of Christ.

As the novena continues, the faithful are invited to look to Mary as a model of trust and attentive discipleship, while remembering that God never abandons His children. Through the Rosary, the parish continues to contemplate Christ with Mary and to listen more deeply to the needs of others, becoming a community that responds to suffering with prayer, presence, and love.

UNITED IN PRAYER | The parish community formally opened the Month of the Holy Rosary with the celebration of the Family Rosary Crusade, bringing together the faithful in a communal recitation of all the mysteries of the Holy Rosary.

This devotional activity was led by the Parish Team of Pastors, together with the leaders of the parish’s various ministries and chapels, who guided the faithful in praying the Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries. The gathering served as a parish-wide expression of devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and a call to rediscover the Rosary as a prayer rooted in the contemplation of Christ.

The Family Rosary Crusade also highlighted the important place of prayer within the life of the family and the wider Christian community. Each mystery was accompanied by a short reflection anchored on the theme of the “Listening Church,” to pause and listen—to God's Word, to the movement of the Holy Spirit, and to the realities and experiences of one another.

As the Month of the Holy Rosary begins, may the Family Rosary Crusade inspire every household, ministry, and chapel community to make prayer and listening an integral part of its life. May the Rosary unite the parish in faith and help form a community that listens attentively to God.

FOURTH DAY OF THE NOVENA AND FEAST OF ST. THERESE | The parish community marked the Fourth Day of the Novena in honor of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary with the celebration of the Feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, the secondary patroness of the parish. The Votive Mass was presided over by Most Rev. Dennis Villarojo, Bishop of Malolos.

As the Church celebrates St. Therese, her life points the faithful toward a simple yet profound path to holiness. Her spirituality was marked by childlike trust in God's mercy, humility, and a complete offering of herself to the Lord.

This spirit resonates deeply with the prayer of the Holy Rosary. In contemplating the mysteries of Christ with Mary, the faithful are invited to discover God's presence not only in the great moments of salvation history, but also in the quiet and ordinary circumstances of daily life. Like St. Therese, the Christian is called to approach God with confidence, offering the small things of each day as expressions of love.
