Bisan pa sa mga bagyong misulay, sa kalisud nga miagi, ug sa mga kasakit nga milabay, wala kita biyae sa Ginoo. Iyang gipadangat ang kusog sa matag adlaw, Iyang gipuno ang atong kamot sa panalangin, ug Iyang gipadala ang kainit sa paglaum.

Karong adlawa, magtapok kita uban ang kasingkasing nga puno sa pagpasalamat, nagdayeg sa Diyos nga naghatag kanato dili lamang sa abunda nga ani, apan sa dugang kinabuhi, lig-on nga espiritu, ug kalipay nga nagatabon sa tanang kakulian.

Aming Dakilang Diyos,
Pinupuri Ka namin sa Iyong kadakilaan at kapangyarihan,
Dahil Ikaw ang Diyos na makapangyarihan sa lahat,
mapagmahal, at tapat magpakailanman.
Salamat po sa Iyong kabutihan na hindi nagmamaliw,
at sa paglingap Mo sa Iyong mga anak sa oras ng pagsubok.

Panginoon, ngayong hinahampas ng Bagyong Uwan ang aming bansa,
kami’y lumalapit sa Iyo na may pusong mapagkumbaba.
Iligtas Mo po ang bawat pamilyang apektado
ang mga nawalan ng tahanan, kabuhayan, at pag-asa.

Pag-ibayuhin Mo ang aming pagtutulungan at malasakit sa isa’t isa,
at pagpalain Mo ang aming pamahalaan
na maging tapat, maagap, at may malasakit sa kanilang tungkulin.

Mapasalamaton kami sa Ginoo tungod kay Siya gayud ang tinubdan sa tanan nga panalangin ug kalooy. Sa taliwala sa kalisdanan nga among nasinati tungod sa pag-igo sa Bagyong Opong, wala kami Niya pasagdi. Iyang gipadala ang mga tawo nga mahimong instrumento sa Iyang gugma ug pag-atiman.
