What's your excuse?
Luke 14:15 - 24

God continually invites us to experience His grace, fellowship, and Kingdom.

The question is, will we make excuses, or will we accept His invitation?

The great banquet represents God’s Kingdom and His invitation to be part of what He has prepared.
God’s invitation is an invitation of grace, love, and fellowship.

Excuses Can Keep Us From God’s Blessings
The invited guests had different reasons for refusing the invitation. Their excuses seemed reasonable, but they caused them to miss something greater.
- Sometimes, our priorities, worries, possessions, or busy lives can become excuses for putting God second.

Respond to God While the Invitation Is Open
The master of the banquet continued inviting others to come.
- God is still calling us today. Let us not delay or allow distractions to keep us from responding to Him.

May we never become too busy, too comfortable, or too distracted to accept the invitation of our gracious God.

Amen.

We cherish his life, his faith, and the ministry he faithfully shared with us. His presence and the memories he leaves behind will always be remembered by the Faithlife Family.
