Promoting Excellence through the Power of Commitment

Marami sa atin ngayon ay mahilig sa instant. Ayaw nang maghintay nang matagal, parang laging nagmamadali. Gusto ng instant coffee, instant noodles, instant calamansi juice, instant ulam at kung anu-ano pang instant na available sa tindahan. At minsan, gusto na rin natin ng instant success. Pero alam mo bang walang short cut para makamit mo ang totoong tagumpay. You must go through a process. And that process requires your commitment. Saan mo ba ikino-commit ang buhay mo ngayon?
Magandang araw, ako si Maloi Malibiran-Salumbides, partner mo sa inspirado at productive na pagtatrabaho.
Sabi ni Vince Lombardi, "The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor.” Lahat tayo ay capable na maging excellent. We just have to commit ourselves to excellence.
Upang magtagumpay ang inyong negosyo at kumpanya, kailangan nyong magkaisa na maging committed sa pagpapatatag at pagpapaunlad nito. Now let me give you some tips on how to improve your team’s commitment.
1. Set clear and understandable team goals. Mahirap mag-commit sa isang gawain, negosyo o kumpanya kung wala kayong malinaw na goals. If a team does not know what exactly the team's goals are, then it is impossible for your team to actually be working together towards the same goal. Kapag malinaw ang goal, employees will be encouraged also to go the extra mile para sa kumpanya.
2. Communicate frequently. Lahat ng empleyado ay gusto ng transparent management. Nagbibigay ito sa kanila ng kapanatagan ng kalooban. Hindi sila nanghuhula kung ano ba ang susunod na gagawin ng grupo. Alam nila kung saang direksyon papunta ang kumpanya.
3. Program your minds with excellent thoughts. Iwasan mong palaging mag-isip ng negatibo patungkol sa iyong trabaho at sa iyong mga ka-opisina. Hindi iyan makatutulong sa iyo. Sabi nga ni Charles Swindoll, “The secret of living a life of excellence is merely a matter of thinking thoughts of excellence.
And why do we need to pursue excellence? Because God does His work with excellence. Sabi sa Geneses 1:31, matapos niyang likhain ang daigdig, the end result was “very good”. Tandaan mo, to promote excellence through the power of commitment, we need to do the following: Set clear and understandable team goals, Communicate frequently, and Program your minds with excellent thoughts.
