What does it mean to pray without ceasing?
“… pray without ceasing …”
1 Thess 5: 17
Paul’s command to “pray without ceasing” can be confusing for some people. Obviously, it cannot mean we are to be in a head bowed, eyes closed posture all day long. Paul is not referring to non stop talking, but rather to an attitude of God conscious and God surrender that we carry with us all the time. Every waking moment is to be lived in an awareness that God is with us and that He is actively involved and engaged in our thoughts and actions.
When our thoughts turn to worry, fear, discouragement and anger, we are to consciously and quickly turn every thought into prayer and every prayer into thanksgiving. In his letter to the Philippians, Paul commands us to stop being anxious and instead, “in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God” (Phil 4: 6). He taught the believers at Colossae to devote themselves “to prayer, being watchful and thankful” (Col 4: 2). Paul exhorted the Ephesian believers to see prayer as a weapon to use in fighting spiritual battles (Eph 6: 18).
As we go through the day, prayer should be our first response to every fearful situation, every anxious thought and every undesired task that God commands. A lack of prayer will cause us to depend on ourselves instead of depending on God's grace. Unceasing prayer is, in essence, continual dependence upon and communion with the Father.
For Christians, prayer should be like breathing. You do not have to think to breathe because the atmosphere exerts pressure on your lungs and essentially forces you to breathe. That is why it is more difficult to hold your breath than it is to breathe. Similarly, when we are born into the family of God, we enter into a spiritual atmosphere where God's presence and grace exert pressure, or influence, on our lives. Prayer is the normal response to that pressure. As believers, we have all entered the divine atmosphere to breathe the air of prayer.
Unfortunately, many believers hold their “spiritual breath” for long periods, thinking brief moments with God are sufficient to allow them to survive. But such restricting of their spiritual intake is caused by sinful desires. The fact is that every believer must be continually in the presence of God, constantly breathing in His truths, to be fully functional.
It is easier for Christians to feel secure by presuming on—instead of depending on—God's grace. Too many believers become satisfied with physical blessings and have little desire for spiritual ones. When programs, methods, and money produce impressive results, there is an inclination to confuse human success with divine blessing. When that happens, passionate longing for God and yearning for His help will be missing. Continual, persistent, incessant prayer is an essential part of Christian living and flows out of humility and dependence on God.

MORNING BLESSINGS.
TOPIC:JESUS HAS PAID BIBLE TEXT: "For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, and through him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross".
(Colossians 1:19‭-‬20). NLT
Christ death made provision for all people to come to God. It removed the sin that keep us from having a right relationship with our Creator. This does not mean that everyone has been saved but that the way has been cleared by Christ for anyone who will trust Him to be saved. This is not about religion, it's about knowing and following the right way.
We can have peace with God and be reconciled to Him by accepting Christ, who died in our place. Is there a distance between you and your Creator? Be reconciled to God. Come to Him through Jesus Christ before it's too late.
Good morning.

What does it mean to be sanctified?

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SHARE AND PLEASE READ ALL SCRIPTURE MENTIONED HEREIN THIS POST: MAY GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU UNCONDITIONALLY!!! I LOVE YOU ALL. GIVE GOD ALL GLORY IN JESUS NAME AMEN N AMEN THANK YOU JESUS HALLELUJAH 🔥🔥🔥🙏❤️

To be sanctified is to be “set apart.” Synonyms for sanctified are holy, consecrated, and hallowed. The Bible speaks of things being “sanctified,” such as Mt. Sinai (Exodus 19:23) and gifts to the temple (Matthew 23:17); days, such as the Sabbath (Exodus 20:8); names, such as God’s (Matthew 6:9); and people, such as the Israelites (Leviticus 20:7–8) and Christians (Ephesians 5:26).

For a thing to be sanctified means it is set apart for a special use. Sinai was set apart from all other mountains for the giving of the Law. The temple in Jerusalem was set apart from all other locations for the worship of the one true God: “I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there” (2 Chronicles 7:16).

Things that are sanctified are reserved for God’s purposes and should not be used for mundane tasks. The night Babylon fell, King Belshazzar “gave orders to bring in the gold and silver goblets . . . from the temple in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them” (Daniel 5:2). It was one of Belshazzar’s final acts, for he was killed that night by the invading Persians. God’s name is “hallowed” (Luke 11:2) and any flippant or disrespectful use of His name is profane.

Jesus spoke of Himself as being sanctified in John 17:19; in other words, He is holy and “set apart” from sin. His followers are to be similarly set apart from sin and for God’s use (see 1 Peter 1:16).

People who are sanctified are born again and therefore part of God’s family (Hebrews 2:11). They are reserved for God’s use. They know “the sanctifying work of the Spirit” in their lives (1 Peter 1:2). They abstain from sexual immorality (1 Thessalonians 4:3). They understand they have been “called to be his holy people” (1 Corinthians 1:2).

To be sanctified means that God has been at work in our lives. Under the Old Testament Law, the blood of a sacrifice was required to set things apart unto God: “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood” (Hebrews 9:22). Blood was sprinkled on tabernacle furniture, on priestly clothing, and on people. Nothing was considered sanctified until it had come in contact with the blood. This was a picture of the spiritual application of Christ’s blood for our salvation—we are “sprinkled with his blood” (1 Peter 1:2). Just as the temple of old was sanctified for God’s use, our bodies, temples of the Holy Spirit, are set apart for God’s holy purposes (1 Corinthians 6:19).

To be sanctified means that God’s Word has had an effect on us. It is “through the word” that God cleanses us and makes us holy (Ephesians 5:26; John 17:17).

God invites us sinners to come to Him “just as we are” and receive His mercy and forgiveness. When we are saved, the Holy Spirit begins His amazing work of transforming us into the image and likeness of Christ. To be sanctified means that God loves us too much to let us stay the same.

The apostle’s prayer is for all believers, everywhere: “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

OFFENCE BUILDS STRONGHOLDS

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 -------- For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

A stronghold in the mind is a spiritual fortress made of wrong thoughts, a fortified dwelling place where demonic forces can hide and operate in power against us. The ideas and thoughts that make up the stronghold are based on lies that challenge the truth of what God has revealed about Himself.

Here’s the picture: the Christian, wearing his spiritual armor and bearing his spiritual weapons, sets out to “conquer” the world for Christ, but he soon finds obstacles. The enemy has erected strongly fortified garrisons to resist the Truth and thwart God’s plan of redemption.

There is the fortress of human reasoning, reinforced with many subtle arguments and the pretense of logic. There is the castle of passion, with flaming battlements defended by lust, pleasure, and greed. And there is the pinnacle of pride, in which the human heart sits enthroned and revels in thoughts of its own excellence and sufficiency.

These are the strongholds in our life. But when we use the weapons of God’s choosing, we can attack the strongholds, and by the miraculous power of Christ, the walls are breached, and the bastions of sin and error are battered down. The victorious Christian enters the ruins and leads captive, as it were, every false theory and every human philosophy that had once proudly asserted its independence from God. Strongholds can only be broken through the Word of God!

Maybe we have led a bad life but through repentance, God gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit. Galatians 3:13 says Christ has redeemed from the curse of the law. If we believe the scripture we know we are not under a curse because Christ has set us free. Through the death of Jesus on the cross we are set free. He has brought us out of slavery from sin, sickness, defeat and death. Now we are no longer under a curse but Abraham’s blessings are promised to us.

Just because we have been set free, does not mean we go out and continue to sin. Sin always has consequences and by sinning, we harden our hearts towards God. We refuse to obey His Word despite seeing His work in our life.

The key to bringing down the strongholds Satan has constructed in our minds is the knowledge of God's personality. Getting to know the true God and seeing how He views us in Christ will help to strengthen the inner man and tear down the lies Satan has fed us.

BEFORE THE TRUTH CAN SET YOU FREE, YOU NEED TO RECOGNIZE WHICH LIE IS HOLDING YOU HOSTAGE.

BE COMPASSIONATE AND KIND. ~ July 25

Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.”

We live in a world where kindness has become a lost commodity. But if you are a Christian, then kindness has to be what you dish out on a regular basis. Kindness is about thinking of others and extending our love and resources to meet their needs and concerns.

Treating people with kindness keeps our hearts and attitudes running in the right direction. If we’re not careful, we can easily fall prey to selfishness and indifference in our dealings with people. Planning to be kind gets you out of the what will they do for me world and gets your heart in tune with what can I do for them? Intentional acts of kindness train our hearts to be loving and helpful.

Acts of kindness to friends, spouses, and our children bless us with the privilege of better friendships and more fulfilling relationships. And, most importantly, kindness will make you a lot like Jesus, who was kind to you all the way to His death! Believe me, becoming like Jesus is a huge return on the investment.

Kindness doesn’t have to be a major event or time-consuming. It doesn’t take a lot of time to hold the door open for the mom with her arms full, or to smile at a senior citizen as you pass by on the sidewalk. It won’t kill you to dole out some of your bread to the needy. They’ll remember you as friendly and generous, and may even want to know what it is that makes you different—a wide open door to sharing that Jesus taught you to be kind!

And if you object because no one is ever kind to you, keep in mind that it may just be that they have never been blessed by you being kind to them! When you are kind, people usually look for ways to return the favor. It’s the boomerang effect. As Jesus taught, “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you” (Matthew 7:12)

Be kind, and watch the blessings

Rhema Bible Online Teachings. Expectation of God’s Goodness
The Expectation of God

Keeping our Expectations on God:
“My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him.”—Psalm 62:5

When we pray we do so with hope…

Hope that, firstly, God’s love is great enough that He cares what His creation says…

And secondly, that He truly listens and will answer.

Yet, for all of us, there can still be moments or prayers where we do not enter in with expectation.

It can be hard for us to believe He listens, let alone, answers our prayers…

There are many reasons for this ranging from a belief that our prayer is “too big” or that we are somehow not worthy of an answer. But God ALWAYS answers prayer! At times the answer may be “no,” but He answers, and for our good. He never leaves us uncertain.

Coming before God expecting an answer is a sign of trust; a confirmation that He alone has our trust and hope…

Because He never changes!

Because His Word promises that He desires good for us!

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”—Hebrews 13:8

God desires to bless us beyond our “wildest” imaginations!

Yet, when we fail to go to Him—or go without the expectation of a favorable response—it is almost like we are not even asking…

We are virtually praying with a counter expectation, one where we believe the outcome to be rejection.

Basically we are telling ourselves before-hand not to expect anything from God, and that lack of joyful expectation can hold back the fulfillment of our requests… His promises!

Continuing in Expectation:
Even when we are able to go before God in expectation, the emotion we often associate with it can fade as time goes by.

We can correlate too closely with “delay” and “no;” treating the two as if they are the same…

Yet, often our timing and God’s do not line up.

Sometimes we are not ready for the blessing, or season God has promised, and it is “delayed.”

However, even with this knowledge, our flesh is often impatient. When something does not happen when we desire it, we can take that as rejection and cease to expect it, or, at the very least, lower our expectations.

God has amazing plans for each and every one of us, yet, when we cease to expect God’s goodness for our lives, we begin to settle… and settling is not part of God’s orchestration.

God’s children are meant to expect the gifts and blessings of “King’s kids.” To expect the blessings of being adopted by the Creator of the Universe! Of being the beloved of Jesus… His bride! Of simply being loved!

Because we are loved of God, we are called to be blessed and be blessings in return…

We are meant to expect God’s goodness!

Expectation in Day to Day Life:
To live in daily expectation is to be open to what God brings and not be discouraged when things fail to go our way. Yet, it is also remembering that God desires us to be blessed and to bless others… that we are to expect His goodness daily.

Sometimes the fruition of this expectation is shown through simple blessings…

Such as: through getting your preferred parking space at the grocery store; through finding a flower blossoming after a long winter; through seeing a rainbow on your way to work; through hearing your favorite song playing.

These simple things, when we live expecting God’s goodness, can become what they in essence are… love-notes from God.

Other times the fruition of this expectation is shown in major ways…

For instance: through receiving a promotion at work; through a word of knowledge confirming what God has told you; through recognition of your efforts by those you respect; through a prophecy coming to pass.

All these examples are things that are hard to miss as being signs of God’s love and goodness. Yet, when we are expecting God’s goodness, they become even more powerful. The expectation opens our hearts and minds to God’s timing; it helps prepare us so there is no delay.

Still, there are days where it can be hard to see the goodness of God… not because it is not there, but because our expectations do not align with His plans, or because we simply do not have our eyes open to expect His goodness.

When days come where nothing seems to go right… where you spill your coffee all over your white shirt halfway to an important meeting, lack time to even grab lunch, have your wallet stolen, and fail to meet your deadlines, it can seem as if God does not desire good for you. It can be hard to expect good things when every time you turn around something goes wrong…

Yet, God does not change. Even on the darkest days of our lives, when it feels as if our hearts might break, God desires good for us. He wants us to remember that and to expect His goodness.

Psalm 23:5‭-‬6;
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Such comforting words, even in the presence of my enemies I'll still be nourished, have the protection that can only come from God through the Holy Spirit, an always have more than I need of all God has blessed me with. Heavenly Father thanks so much for another day. Help me keep my eyes on the important things that bring you glory, an focus all of who I am on what you created me to be. In Jesus name Amen God bless an have a wonderful day

Hallelujah! Praise God. In Jesus name. Amen.

FINDING FULFILLMENT

Let your soul delight itself in abundance.
Isaiah 55:2

When Satan tried to trap Jesus at the beginning of His ministry he used the same temptation he used today.
One trap was the lure of things. Jesus had fasted for forty days, and Satan tried to take advantage of His hunger by urging Him to use His supernatural power to turn stone into bread. But Jesus replied, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). Not from Satan's mouth, but from God's!
Bread is important, but it isn't all-important, as Satan was suggesting. Pleasure and recreation have their place but they mustn't have first place. Money is necessary, but money must serve us; we are not to serve it.
Isaiah said, "Listen carefully to Me and let your soul delight itself in abundance "(Isaiah 55:2). Yes, delight in abundance, the abundance God gives you, both material and spiritual. Especially delight in the abundance of joy that comes from His presence. Satan will always offer you substitutes. Refuse them!

Hallelujah! Praise God.

Can you say, Jesus is all I need in my life. We must learn to be content with what the Lord has blessed us with. Amen.
Satan may try to tempt us with material things, but true fulfillment in in the love of God. Amen.
What substitutions have you been tempted to accept? Ask God to give you the wisdom to recognize a poor substitute or a quick fix and the self'control to wait for what is best. Amen.

Please my family, come join me in prayer.

Father God, our eyes open on this morning, and as we wake to see yet another beautiful day, we know it was because of your blessing, and we want say that you. Amen.
And so we won't make this journey alone you allow those we love, and those you have placed in to share in this walk of faith. Amen.
But Father we come before you on this morning and we are standing in the need of prayer. Amen.
Our prayer Father is for our sisters and brothers, those that are in need, the sick, and the many who are in mourning, they have lost someone, or someone may not have made it home on last night, we pray Father that you comfort and consol them on this morning.
Let not their hearts be trouble, for joy cometh in the morning. Amen. And Father we say a prayer for those going down the wrong path, may their hearts be touched and the light and the joy that is you, redirect their path and they choose one of righteousness. Amen.
And Father we pray that traveling grace covers all on this morning. In the name of Jesus this we pray. Amen.

WE NEED TO BE ROOTED BY THE WORD OF GOD

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed (metamorphose) by the renewing (remaking) of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:1-2

We not only need to renew our worldly, fleshly way of thinking; we need to rethink all of the religious garbage that we have learned growing up. People have put themselves in bo***ge to denominational lies. We must humble ourselves and reconsider all of the scriptures. We are to test, prove and examine everything that we have been taught. Doctrines the appeal to the flesh (feel good worldly lusts) are not from God. Do not read the Bible with a denominational bias.

If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness (God-likeness) he is puffed up with conceit and understands NOTHING. He has an unhealthy craving for controversy and for quarrels about words, which produce envy, dissension, slander, evil suspicions, 1Tim.6:3-4

Anyone who goes too far and does not abide (continue) in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting; for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds. 2Jn.9-11

Philippians 3:13-15 "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. [Following Paul’s Example] All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you."

The Lord tells us how important it is to forget the past and not let us hold us back.

Take a hold of the door and open it to your new future and don't be afraid to walk through, no matter what you never walk alone. Jesus will be right beside you to guide you to the right path of life!

Let go…AND MOVE ON! Pastor Violeta Pantaleon

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. The Surrendered Life

I have been crucified with Christ… GALATIANS 2:20

To become one with Jesus Christ, a person must be willing not only to give up sin, but also to surrender his whole way of looking at things. Being born again by the Spirit of God means that we must first be willing to let go before we can grasp something else. The first thing we must surrender is all of our pretense or deceit. What our Lord wants us to present to Him is not our goodness, honesty, or our efforts to do better, but real solid sin. Actually, that is all He can take from us. And what He gives us in exchange for our sin is real solid righteousness. But we must surrender all pretense that we are anything, and give up all our claims of even being worthy of God’s consideration.

Once we have done that, the Spirit of God will show us what we need to surrender next. Along each step of this process, we will have to give up our claims to our rights to ourselves. Are we willing to surrender our grasp on all that we possess, our desires, and everything else in our lives? Are we ready to be identified with the death of Jesus Christ?

We will suffer a sharp painful disillusionment before we fully surrender. When people really see themselves as the Lord sees them, it is not the terribly offensive sins of the flesh that shock them, but the awful nature of the pride of their own hearts opposing Jesus Christ. When they see themselves in the light of the Lord, the shame, horror, and desperate conviction hit home for them.

If you are faced with the question of whether or not to surrender, make a determination to go on through the crisis, surrendering all that you have and all that you are to Him. And God will then equip you to do all that He requires of you.
