Recollect Augustinian Youth de Cavite The Recollect Augustinian Youth (RAY) is a Catholic ecclesial youth movement sponsored by the Order of Augustinian Recollects.

Considered as the Fourth member of the said order, its purpose is to live and spread the Augustinian charism among young people.

Once, you were a child held in loving arms. Today, you are a grown up Augustinian Recollect walking in faith and purpose.

Before you even took your first breath, God already knew your name:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you (Jer 1:5)."

Your birthday is more than a celebration of years — it is a reminder of vocation. As our father, Augustine of Hippo, wrote:
“You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in You (Conf., I.1)."

Last April 26, 2026, RAY de Cavite carried on with the Rosary Children formation, guided by Facilitator Ms. Rhea Nosa and supported by Sponsor RAYster Pat Peña. The session centered on the beauty and meaning of the Glory Be, teaching the children to give praise to the Holy Trinity and to recognize God’s presence in all things.

We also gathered as one community for our 4th Sunday Mass sponsorship. 🌿

Last March 22, 2026, RAY de Cavite carried on with the Rosary Children formation, guided by Facilitator Mr. Alvin Laserna and supported by Sponsor Ma’am Ana Manzano & RAYster Mic Bernal. The session centered on the beauty and meaning of the Act of Contrition, teaching the children the importance of repentance, humility, and seeking God’s mercy.

We also gathered as one community for our 4th Sunday Mass sponsorship. 🌿

With hearts full of gratitude to God, we joyfully celebrate the 21st Presbyteral Anniversary of Rev. Fr. Joseph Dexter D. Palagtiosa, OAR — a faithful servant in the spirit of the Augustinian Recollect tradition, marked by recollection, community, and zeal for the Church.

“You are a priest forever in the line of Melchizedek.” (Psalm 110:4)

For 21 years, Fr. Dexter has lived this sacred calling, embodying the Augustinian Recollect charism: interiority that leads to communion, and communion that blossoms into mission. Through prayerful recollection, humble service, and pastoral dedication, he continues to guide the faithful closer to Christ, the Eternal High Priest.

May the Lord who began this good work in him sustain his ministry, deepen his recollection, and strengthen his service to the Church. May Mary, Mother of Consolation, and St. Augustine intercede for him always.

Last February 22, 2026, RAY de Cavite carried on with the Rosary Children formation, guided and sponsored by Mr. Ian Guiao. The session centered on the beauty and meaning of the Hail Mary, inviting the children to understand and pray it with deeper faith.

We also gathered ws one community for our 4th Sunday Mass sponsorship. 🌿
