SUNDAY SERVICE | THE LIFE LESSON OF KING HEZEKIAH❤️

What a blessed and meaningful Sunday at Torch Church!🤍⛪

Today, Pastor Erick shared a powerful and inspiring message from Isaiah 38:1–8, reminding us of the story of King Hezekiah and how God answered to a sincere and faithful prayer.

King Hezekiah was told that his life was coming to an end. In the midst of a difficult and uncertain situation, he turned to God and genuinely prayed for longer life. God heard his prayer and granted him additional years of life. He also gave Hezekiah the assurance that He would protect him and his people from the Assyrians.

Through “The Life Lesson of King Hezekiah,” we were reminded of three powerful truths:

🙏 WHEN LIFE BRINGS YOU CRISIS — PRAY!
When everything feels overwhelming and you don't know what to do, don't forget to turn to God. Bring your worries, fears, and burdens to Him.

🤍 WHEN THE ANSWER IS UNCERTAIN — TRUST!
We may not always understand what God is doing, but we can trust that He sees what we cannot see and that His plans are always greater than ours.

⏳ WHEN THE SITUATION SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE — WAIT FOR GOD.
Sometimes, God asks us to wait. His timing may not be our timing, but waiting doesn't mean God is doing nothing. He is working even when we cannot see it.

Whatever you may be facing today—whether it's a crisis, an unanswered prayer, or a situation that seems impossible—PRAY. TRUST. WAIT FOR GOD.

May God continue to strengthen your faith, answer your prayers according to His will, and guide you through every season of life.

🌧️ WHEN THE RAIN CAME, THEIR FAITH SHONE EVEN BRIGHTER.🤍

Our Kids Bible Study began with so much joy, laughter, excitement, and energy. The kids played, danced, sang, laughed with their friends, and enjoyed every moment with their teachers. Their little smiles reminded us how beautiful it is to see children growing in their love for God. 🥹

But suddenly, the rain came. 🌧️

We weren’t expecting it, and we weren’t prepared for it. Since there was no roof over our Bible study area, the kids and teachers got soaked. We tried our best to run toward Hope Church, hoping we could find shelter and continue our Bible study there. But the rain was so heavy that, by the time we reached the church, almost everyone was already wet.

As teachers, it broke our hearts.

Some of the children were crying. Some were not feeling well. And some were still so little that running through the heavy rain was difficult for them. All we wanted was for them to feel safe, comfortable, and happy while learning about Jesus.

But then we witnessed something that touched our hearts deeply.

They could have simply gone home.

They could have said, “Uwi na tayo.”
They could have stopped because they were already wet, tired, and uncomfortable.

But they chose to follow us. 🥹

Even after everything that happened, they still went with us to Hope Church. They still wanted to continue the Bible study. They still wanted to hear God’s Word.

And in that moment, we saw something so genuine in these little hearts. ❤️

Their clothes were wet.
Their little feet were tired.
Some of them were crying.

But their desire to be with God’s people and learn about Jesus remained.

Sometimes, we think that we are the ones teaching the children about faith. But there are moments when God uses these little children to teach us what faith truly looks like🫶🏻

They reminded us that serving God is not always easy. Following Him does not always happen in perfect places or comfortable situations. Yet, even in the rain, they chose to continue.

And as teachers, this experience made one prayer even stronger in our hearts:

Lord, please bless us with a church home of our own again.❤️

A place where kids can worship, learn, play, dance, and grow in their faith safely and comfortably. A place where they don't have to worry about the rain. A place where they can freely run, laugh, sing, and hear about Jesus—just like before. 🏠🤍

Until that day comes, we will continue.

We will continue to teach.
We will continue to serve.
We will continue to love these children.
And we will continue to trust that God is preparing a place for us again.

Because today, the rain may have soaked us…
but it did not stop us from seeking Jesus.❤️

To our precious little ones, thank you for showing us such a beautiful and genuine heart for the Lord. May you always keep that childlike faith.🥹🤍

And one day, by God’s grace, we pray that we’ll see you worshipping together again in a church we can finally call home.

Until then, we keep believing. We keep praying. We keep serving.

The rain may have changed our plans, but it will never change our purpose.

A SUNDAY REMINDER: COME TO GOD AND FIND REST✨🤍

Another blessed Sunday at Torch Christian Church!❤️✝️

Today, Pastor SangHo Kim shared God’s Word and reminded us of something our tired hearts often need to hear: we can get weary from everything we carry and everything we do in this world—— The responsibilities, worries, struggles, and heavy days can leave us feeling exhausted. 😮‍💨

But in the midst of it all, God offers a peace and rest that this world cannot give.

Minsan, mas pinipili nating solusyunan ang lahat nang tayo lang. Palagi tayong sumusubok, nagpapakalakas, at lumabalan sa buhay o sitwasyon na mayroon tayo—— pero sa lahat ng iyon, nakakalimutan nating mag “Pause”, huminto ng saglit at ipanalangin sa Diyos ang lahat ng ating mga problema at pasanin sa buhay.

Kaya ito po ay napakagandang paalala sa bawat isa sa atin: Kapag masyado nang mahirap at nakakapagod, huwag nating kakalimutang magdasal at humingi ng tulong sa ating Buhay at Makapangyarihang Diyos!❤️‍🔥

When you’re tired, come to Him.
When you’re worried, pray.
When you feel overwhelmed, seek Him.
And when you don’t know what to do, rest in His presence.

May we continue to find our peace, strength, and rest in God—not in the things this world can offer.

“TORCH CHURCH YOUTH FELLOWSHIP”🫶🏻❤️‍🔥

Another month, another memorable moment together! 🥳🙌 Our Fellowship was filled with laughter, excitement, fun games, and, of course… God’s Word!🥰

But beyond all the fun and good memories, we were reminded of something even more important.

Bro. Joshua shared God’s Word and reminded us that even in the middle of our worries, anxiety, and moments when life feels heavy, we are never alone. God is always there—ready to listen, strengthen us, and remind us that we can place our burdens in His hands. 🙏✨

Sometimes, fellowship is more than just gathering together. It’s about laughing together, encouraging one another, sharing our burdens, and growing closer to God and to each other.

Here’s to more memories, more laughter, more food, and most importantly—more moments growing together in Christ!

We laugh. We share. We grow. We walk with God—together.🫶

Faith that obeys, even when we don’t know the whole plan!✨

Torch Church Kids learned about NOAH and his incredible obedience to God! 🛶🌧️

Through our continuation of the “Big Top: Bible Heroes” series, Teacher Edward shared the story of Noah—a man who obeyed God even when he didn’t fully understand what God was going to do.

Noah didn’t have all the answers. He couldn’t see the whole plan. But he chose to TRUST, OBEY, and FOLLOW GOD!

Let’s keep raising a generation of little kids who TRUST GOD, OBEY HIS WORD, and WALK BY FAITH!❤️

🇵🇭🇰🇷 35th Philippine-Korea Culture Exchange Festival 🎉✨

What a wonderful and meaningful day of celebration, fellowship, and cultural exchange! ❤️

Torch Christian Church was truly blessed to be part of the 35th Philippine-Korea Culture Exchange Festival that was celebrated today. It was a joy to see all the churches of CRAM from different places come together as one family to enjoy a beautiful time of fellowship, fun, and celebration.

We had a wonderful time watching amazing singing and dancing performances, cheering together, sharing laughter, and enjoying the exciting raffle!

We are grateful for the friendships, memories, and moments we shared together.🫶🏻❤️

YOUTH BIBLE STUDY | TRUE WORSHIP

What does it truly mean to worship God? ❤️

Last Saturday, Bro. Antonio shared a powerful message about True Worship, reminding us that worship is more than just singing songs or lifting our hands—it is about serving the Lord with all our hearts. 🙏

We learned that God does not measure our worship based on our abilities, talents, or how much we can do. What matters is a heart that is willing, surrendered, and devoted to Him. 💛

Our worship is not about how capable we are; it is about how fully we are willing to give ourselves to God.

May our lives become an offering of true worship—serving Him wholeheartedly, wherever He has called us.❤️
